She kept on operating my phone while i
decided not to check what she was doing. I
looked at Mira and her face changed
immediately our eyes met and she gave me a
murderous look. Juliet on her own was plain,
no emotion, nothing. That was the type
of girls i like to deal with

V. PRESIDENT: Juliet, what is wrong with
you? **he asked his daughter suspiciously**

JULIET: nothing dad, i just don’t feel like
talking now

The V. President eyed his daughter
suspiciously before continuing with what he
was
discussing with the women. Mary came out to
announce that the table was set and we
all budged to the dinning. Though i was not
ravenous, i have to eat the food but i
thank God that what we ate at home before
coming was soft food.

The food was jollified rice (jollof rice) with
vegetables and chicken. Jane sat
beside me while Mira sat opposite us with
mummy and Juliet while husband and wife
completed the table on opposite flank and i
don’t know why Janet was always sticking
around me. Mira never failed to give me a
murderous glance while i never cared as i
was not having anything to do with her
When we were done, the V. President called
me aside and requested for my account
number which i gave him before we returned
to meet others in the sitting room. When
we got there, my mum announced our
departure and the V. President urged me to
keep
on visiting from time to time so that we could
get to know each other much better
which i promised

JANET: your phone **she shouted as we
made to leave**

She hand me the phone but hold my hand for
sometimes smiling before letting go. I
could see the horror look on Mira’s face and i
decide to make up with her because i
really needed her company

MUM: how do you see the family **she asked
as we settled in the car**

ME: they are great

MUM: i told you that you will like them

ME; wouldn’t have been any much better

MUM: hope you will fulfil your promise of
visiting them?

ME: i will **i simply replied**

MUM: i could see how you were getting well
with Janet

ME: she was very lively

MUM: i think she already love you

ME: i think as much

MUM: why don’t you marry her and keep our
friendship very strong?

ME: i am not yet at the rightful age of
marriage and i think, will get my own wife
myself

MUM: i am not imposing her on you. I mean
that you should make an official
relationship with her if you love her

ME; but i don’t love her
I looked back at them and saw Mira lightened
up. I don’t even know what the problem
with all these girls and jealousy was

MUM: okay then. It is even still too early to
talk about that
We got home and the gate man handed Mira
the things she ordered online the previous
day. We walked into the house and mummy
asked us to prepare for the shopping. Mira
handed me the phones before going into her
room while i sat on my bed to insert my
sim-card into the iphone6. The phone was
exactly the same with that of Janet and i
became very happy because of that. I decided
not to activate all my accounts yet so
that i will not waste time this time around.
I called Evelyn as i descended the stairs and
we talked very happily. When i got to
the sitting room, there was no body in and i
decided to complete my call by calling
Liza who was very happy that i called. She
asked me when i will visit her and i
promised to visit her the following day.
Mira walked out with pencil skirt and a high-
heal

MIRA: do i keep you waiting?

ME: won’t mind to wait for you for days
**smiling**

MIRA: **frowned** don’t tell me that
We walked out of the house and a new Camry
that i haven’t seen since i came was
parked outside but the driver was not around

ME: where is the driver?

MIRA: the driver is around

ME: but he was sent for an errand

MIRA: i say that the driver is around

ME: then where is he?

MIRA: don’t i look like a driver?

ME: you, a driver? Stories for the Gods

MIRA: if you try me, i will leave you here

ME: and then go and shop for yourself only?
Mira drove the car out of the compound, she
was an expert and i couldn’t help but
marvel at her driving skills.

MIRA: do you mean that you don’t love
Janet?

ME: was that why you are angry with me?

MIRA: i thought so

ME: but i don’t love her

MIRA: everybody love her, i mean, them and
are even fighting for them

ME: but i am not everybody, i am Ben

MIRA: but why don’t you love them, they are
very beautiful

ME: and you are also very beautiful, aren’t
you?

MIRA: eerm….eerm. i mean, your choice

ME: thank God you know about choice
Not that i love any of the girls including Mira
but i just want to make her relax.

We kept on talking and laughing until we
reached the boutique we will be buying our
stuffs and entered in to make our choices
We got everything we needed and returned
home

MIRA: so how do you see the choices i made
for you?

ME: until i check it out

MIRA: you can still know by mere looking at
them

ME: they maybe good in the sight but not
good on my body

Everything we bought was chosen by her only
few that i like was what i chosed by
myself. We entered the sitting room with the
luggage and met my mum sleeping on the
couch
