I just stared at this girl as i kept on smiling inwardly. I don’t even know why she was so keen on knowing about my personal life. I am not used on telling lies when it comes to important things but now, i don’t know either to be honest or not.

ME: what did you say?

LIZA: you heard me well

ME: why do you want to know?

LIZA: nothing; just curious

ME: what made you curious?

LIZA: don’t know. Just answer me

ME: okay. I have many of them **smiling**

The girl just looked at me with surprise. Not that i meant what i said but i wanted to see her cry again but unfortunately for me, she never did. Rather, she just handed my phone back to me and buried her head on her phone. Maybe she was fed up with me or with my pranks or rather tired of shedding tears

DRIVER: boy, i know that you are just teasing this girl, i real admire your type **smiling**
I smiled back at the driver without muttering anything. Liza couldn’t hear what the man said because her anger made her deaf. I glanced at what she was doing on her phone and saw that she was just scrolling through her menus without locating any application. I jokingly touched her lip but she slapped my hand very hard

LIZA: why are you touching me with that your filthy hand? **she fumed**

Her action didn’t surprise me because i expected something like a hot slap from her. But what she did made me broke into fits of laughter which got her more angry

ME: **Still laughing** are we quarrelling?

LIZA: **gave me a murderous look** better stop spitting that nonsense question from that your stupid mouth
Her insult has no negative effect on me. She was just the girl of my type; the stubborn type. That made me even more serious in getting her so that i will shatter her heart into irreparable pieces

ME: was it because i said that i have many girlfriends?

LIZA: anything, just leave me alone **she snapped**

ME: do you know that you are as funny as you are beautiful?

LIZA: why did you said that? Do you think that i am a kid you can deceive with all those words?
I just smiled not caring what she said. When she hear sweet words, nobody will force her to believe

ME: and who have time for that? Do i look like somebody that has any girlfriend?

LIZA: **laughed** you? I think you don’t even have any girlfriend because you are ladies guy

ME: **smirked** ladies guy? I d’ think as much.

LIZA: do you want me to believe you?

ME: nope, i want you to find out yourself
LIZA: **lighten up** are you trying to ask me out?

ME: maybe, but you did sometimes ago

LIZA: i didn’t…i mean, not official

ME: are we cool?

LIZA: yeah **smiling**

ME: so, will you tell me about yourself?

LIZA: nice question. I am the only daughter of my mother and i live with her alone. I am from a trip to see my mum’s friend since yesterday; i thought that i will return that yesterday but unfortunately, i couldn’t make it which made me very sad because i missed my mum very much

ME: i thought as much

LIZA: what?

ME: that you are mummy’s pet. Your behaviour, emotion, everything

LIZA: yeah, can’t stay a day without seeing her.

ME: okay, what class are you?

LIZA: SSS1 **smiling**

I don’t even know why she was smiling. Either because she was a senior student, i don’t know. But i thought that she would have been a secondary graduate because of her stature or maybe she just grow above her age

ME: that is good

LIZA: and what about you?

ME: a son in a family of seven, five children. Returning home after years out **i simply replied**

LIZA: you mean you have been out for years?

ME: exactly what you heard

LIZA: you are really strong. Can’t find myself out of home for a day

We kept on talking, jumping from one topic to the other and laughing at each other’s jokes. I don’t even know that we have travelled for long since my chit-chat with Liza. Our car pulled up at the bus-stop we were to alight. We all came down from the bus and every passenger finds his or way to wherever they are going. Liza and i made our way to find a taxi that will convey us but i was really hungry and tired, it was around 1:00pm

LIZA: i am really hungry; i think we will have to find something to eat **she complained before i could do**

ME: i am also starving, was about saying it before you beat me to that
We walked around searching for a nice place to buy food. My heavy bag was really telling on me compounded with the hunger that was fighting my stomach. We found a very secreted place where they sold soft drinks and other solid foods. We walked in and i ordered for a cold bitter lemon with meat pie while Liza ordered for plastic orange 5alive and we sat in an empty seat, opposite each other.

I kept on glancing at her as she ate her food but she can’t keep an eye contact with me which gave me the chance to scrutinize her beautiful face. In no time, we were done and i paid for both of us before we made our way out of the shop

ME: why don’t we chatter a taxi?

LIZA: okay, but i will pay for both of us

ME: why will you do that, i am the man here?

LIZA: funny you, you just paid for my food and i will return the favour. No debate on that

ME: okay

We found a taxi which we boarded. My aim was that i want to know her place so that my chance of seeing her will increase. The girl just can’t stop talking about everything she saw as we made our way home. But her talks really enlightened me as she kept on explaining every place we pass to me
