I actually bought the diary for the purpose of documenting the list of girls that i will bleep but Evelyn was not included. She was just more than a lover to me and i don’t want anything to come between us. And i will try in any way to hide the diary from her or else, it will be very disastrous.

EVELYN: what book did you buy from the book shop **she asked as we head out of the book shop**

ME: just intended to buy a book but the one that i saw was not the book that i wanted, it was another title that have the same resemblance of the cover **i lied**

EVELYN: well, i got you this book, it contains facts that will help youv control your emotion, build your emotion under a solid rock that it will be indestructible. So that your emotions will not have the better of you. It will equally help you build a strong mind **she explained**

She handed me the book which i goes through the title and the author; it really made sense. We were about opening the door of the car when the other guy that stopped me some minutes ago showed up again

GUY: hello. Please can i have a word with you? **he asked Evelyn**

Evelyn was surprised and stared at me while nodded at her to go on. They both walked a little distance from the car and he began to say something that i couldn’t comprehend while Evelyn kept on staring at him from head to toe but the dude never cared. I was hurt to see another guy speaking to her though i knew that she will never take any nonsense from him. I couldn’t take my eye off them as a great jealousy began to build within me
Not less than ten minutes, Evelyn walked back to the car while the guy kept on staring at her with the look of disappointment. We both entered the car while she drives slowly, i didn’t want to began any conversation or even engage in any conversation with her. Though it was my fault, i shouldn’t have allowed her to talk with the guy but i just can’t keep on dictating what she was supposed to do and what she was not supposed to do. After all, she was an adult and knows what was good for herself
EVELYN: you never asked me how it went with the dude

ME: am i supposed to ask before you tell me?

EVELYN: well, you never told me that you met him

ME: yeah, i do but it escaped my mind because i didn’t take it serious

EVELYN: but he asked you about me

ME: quite irritating

EVELYN: and what did you told him?

ME: i told him that you are my wife **i replied with a straight face**

EVELYN: you felt sad when we were talking, are you jealous?

ME: i am not sad and i am not jealous

EVELYN: then why do you look sad?

ME: you guys were just wasting my time that was why

EVELYN: **laughed** you can lie. I could tell when you felt jealous. Just admit it and i will tell you how it went with him

ME: you want to force me to say it? No problem. I was very scared and jealous. You know all this young guys with hot blood

EVELYN: i knew it **laughed** but don’t worry, he was just saying all that boys stuff, i love you, i want you to be my girlfriend. I told him that i am married and she asked if you are my husband and i say yes

ME: what? You really said it? **surprised**

EVELYN: yeah! And you said it first.

I was just happy, didn’t know that she will admit it. I was equally scared that she will be mad at me if she found out what i told the guy. I leaned and kissed her cheek
EVELYN: hey! Naughty boy, don’t try that, you know that i am driving. If you try that again, you will be the one to cook food this afternoon

ME: i am sorry, i won’t do that again

EVELYN: hahaha, i got you there. Lazy boy, you will surely cook on Sunday

ME: only if you run your palm on my bare chest **smiling**

EVELYN: that is just not difficult but don’t complain when i loose it and rip your skin off

ME: i will take that as ripping off my clothes

EVELYN: **frown** don’t let me do it here

ME: only if you want to end up in the hospital

EVELYN: and you?

ME: hmm, let say….just checking

We busted into a great laughter. We got home and offloaded our stuffs and arranged it in the kitchen. Evelyn decided to take her bath and i used that opportunity to make some calls and dialled Frank’s number

ME: hello dude, how far?

FRANK: i am just tied, hectic day

ME: what were you doing?

FRANK: cleaning, just too much *he complained**

ME: is your father at home?

FRANK: nope, why do you ask?

ME: want to invite Anna over

FRANK: what about your place?

ME: you know that my wife is still around

FRANK: sorry, i forgot. How are you guys doing?

ME: not bad, hope i could come over?

FRANK: yeah! I will be waiting
