EVELYN: won’t you let me in or are you going to keep on starring at me?

I don’t know either to allow her in or not but i have to let her in because i have a lot of question to ask her

ME: i am sorry **i apologised as i gave way for her to enter**

She walk pass me while i locked the door, i turned back to stare at her a-s, they seemed to be controlling her movement as they bounced left and right. I was so lucky that none of my friend was present at that time otherwise, they would have raised eyebrows.

She turned and caught me starring at her a-s and smile while i felt embarrassed. I don’t know why i found it impossible not to love her, the more i stare at her, the more i felt guilt. I don’t know either to apologise to her or not. I knew that i love her but i don’t want to admit it, but it hurt me not to be with her. I won’t let her feeling have advantage over me, i was going to reconcile with Tracy to keep out of her web

ME: what shall i offer you Eve?**i suddenly asked as she sat down**

EVELYN: wow! Finally you address me by my name and not only my name but a romantic name for that matter. That is very strange because i don’t think you will call me that on a normal day, maybe you are having emotional problem; can you tell me about it?
I don’t know why and how i called her that name; it just got out of my mouth. Like she said, i wouldn’t have called her that on a normal day. I was emotionally instable like she said but there is no way i was going to tell her my problem; i don’t trust anybody, i mean anybody and i don’t have to share my problem with anybody again. I am gonna do anything i think is the best for me. Collins and Mike were bunch of leftovers and Frank was indecisive while Tracy is a trained goddamn liar. Eve was just neutral; i don’t equally know her stand but i am not gonna trust her nevertheless

ME: like i said, what do you want me to offer you? **i asked ignoring her question**
EVELYN: **she shrugged** if you don’t want to share it with me, fine, just get me Yoghurt if you have any because i know you don’t like it but remember that a problem shared is problem solved ** she added**

I don’t equally like yoghurt or other sugary soft drinks but bitter minerals (none alcohol). I walked to the fridge and get her the only yoghurt i got in case of any emergence visit with a glass tumbler and brought it to her.
EVELYN: you told me the other time that you lived with your parents but this house seemed to be for a single person, and no sign of your parents or any of their portrait; any explanation for that?

ME: that is none of your business **i replied not knowing the exact explanation to give her**

EVELYN: i know that it is none of my business but everything is my business so i want an explanation from you **she commanded**
I don’t know why i always fall for her, she actually know how to get me which surprised me. I found myself explaining to her

ME: i don’t live with my parents anymore. They don’t have time for me so they decided to rent this house for me **i lied**

EVELYN: i can see **she sounded unconvinced**

ME: how do you know here?

EVELYN: i asked of your address from your friend

ME: who?

EVELYN: that is not actually necessary **she answered with a straight face**

ME: frank right?

EVELYN: no, not him

ME: is okay **i replied with calmed angry tone**

EVELYN: yes, he told me but please don’t confront him about that because i know that you will quarrel with him over that. I missed you so much despite the fact that you never cared for me. Since the school resumed, i never see you, i thought you decided to change school because of me that was why I asked Frank about you only for him to tell me that you got involved in an accident

ME: why is he the only one that you know to ask?

EVELYN: i asked Tracy or rather your girlfriend **i can feel the pain in her voice** but she told me that she never heard from you since last year, that was why i asked frank because he is the only one that is very close to you
An alarm blow in my head, do i just hear her say that Tracy told her that she never heard from me? She now has the guts to deny me; well i don’t blame her, i was the one that brought myself to her that she could play like toys

ME: what did you just say that Tracy told you? **i asked like a confused person which i am**

EVELYN: she told me she never heard from you since last time, anything wrong with that? **she asked with askance look**

ME: eerm,…eerm…. nothing
I struggled with my voice as my brain became filled with so many things. What my head was carrying at that moment was quite bigger than one person could carry. I couldn’t think again and i couldn’t hear anything at that moment though i could hear voices, i couldn’t comprehend anything from it.

EVELYN: **nudged me** what is it?

ME: what? **i asked in surprise**

EVELYN: you are lost

ME: i am not

EVELYN: i have been talking to you but you are not listening obviously thinking of something that was bordering you. Do you care to tell me? **she pushed on**

ME: thank you; i will be fine **i replied as o threw my face away from hers**

EVELYN: okay, how are you doing now, i mean your injury?

ME: getting much better now

EVELYN: thank God for that. So when will you be resuming school?

ME: i could make it next Monday

EVELYN: that will be good, i have to get going, have gat something to do; see you on Monday
She said as she stood up and gave me a deep kiss on the lips. I was dumb founded, i never expected that from her, i fixed my gaze at her as she walked toward the door, once she was at the door, she turned and blow kiss at me and winked with smile before opening the door. I kept on looking at the door after she left wishing that she should come back and stay with me. I enjoyed every single minute of her present more than that of any other person even that of Tracy but i don’t know why

“ could this be real love?”
“ am i punishing myself by not giving in to her?”
