Must Read: INTERMISSION (The Love) - Season 1 - Episode 22

As from then onward, my relationship with Tracy blossom. We called each other not less than six times daily. I love her and she loved me more, she was really fun to be with and also jokes a lot. She will use any simple statement to form a serious joke that will keep you laughing for minutes

We were so happy together but she never misted neither do her house.

Miss Evelyn also refused to call me and will not send for me again. Anytime she came to our class, she will not ask me any question but will always scold Tracy but l decided not to confront her because she never take it personal.
It was on the day we wrote chemistry exam. Tracy walked up to me.

TRACY: please Ben, i will like to stay with you today because chemistry is just too hard for me
ME: but you know it will not be possible
TRACY: but you stay with frank
ME: every teacher knew that I and frank always sit together but yours will be different
TRACY: that won’t be a problem, frank will understand and beside, his sit is also in the front of yours, so he will be able to be ask you any question
ME: that is not the problem, the problem is the invigilators and beside, your father might be among them.
TRACY: *silent*
I wanted to say “what if Miss Evelyn will be the one to invigilate” but i get hold of my tongue because that would have raised suspicion. I began to think of possible solution to acclimatize because i knew that her greatest challenge was chemistry and there would be no way she will be able to write the exam on her own and pass.
TRACY: please Ben, i know that it will be very difficult for you but please, find a solution. I have failed badly in my continuous assessment and this exam is my only hope of getting at least, a manageable grade. My father will be very mad at me if i fail because he wants me to be perfect in science subjects. But as you know, that is my greatest challenge; i have tried in so many ways to let him understand that i can’t be a science but he always insist that i must do it.
Please, you are my only hope to scale through this
ME: but you have never told me about this all these while and why would your dad persevere that you do what you not capable of?
TRACY: i don’t know, he always said that i have single head as those that are science students. I am not really comfortable with fact that i am to study what is not my priority
ME: with what you said, i don’t think that they will be any way that i can help. I don’t want people to know that we are dating
TRACY: many people has already known, there is no way you can secrete it again and moreover, i don’t care if the whole people in this get to know
ME: you tell your friends right? **i asked a bit bemused**
TRACY: of course i do, or haven’t you told any of your friends? Well, i flaunted you so that all these cheap busy-body girls will not take you away from me
I don’t even know what to feel at that moment; how could she be so silly to tell people that we are dating on the excuse of securing the relationship. I was not actually into relation foe publication but her am i with someone who is not only willing to publicise it but also happy and proud about it
ME: that notwithstanding, you still can’t sit with me. What will happen is that immediately the question is distributed, i will write the answer into an extra sheet and bring it to you
TRACY: how will you able to do that? **she asked unsatisfied**
ME: don’t worry, i will try my best
Unfortunately, Miss Evelyn was the leader of the group of the invigilators that were assigned for our class. I didn’t know what to do but i must not fail Tracy because i have promised her that. The exam began; i began to write the answer to an extra sheet without writing my own. When i am done, i sq££zed the paper in my hand and began to mark out plans on how to deliver it. I looked at Tracy and she was staring at me. Suddenly, i got my plan and excused myself to collect something from Tracy’s bag which was granted.
I walked to her sit and collected her bag. I removed her maths textbook and flipped thought it before dropping the note in my in the middle of the textbook before handing her bag back to her.
I walked back to my seat and began to write mine very fast. I glanced at Tracy and nodded at her to check her bag before i continued what i was writing. When i am done i looked at Tracy and she was busy writing from what i gave her.
She was so engrossed that she didn’t notice that Miss Evelyn was moving toward her. My heart was pounding real hard but i don’t know how to tell her because there was a big distance between us. When she got to her, she stood in front of her watching her but she still never noticed
EVELYN: congratulation **she said and she jolted back**
My heart sank, i prayed that ground should open and swallow me, everybody turn their attention to them and began to watch the drama. The embarrassment that i felt that time could not be told. Tracy was shaking while the devil was busy smiling in accomplishment.
The look on her face shows nothing but total accomplishment and satisfaction and by the look of things and the rate of Tracy was found doing, i don’t think that her suspension will be less than one month and she will be disgraced on the podium before the entire school
What Miss Evelyn was looking for has presented itself to her and she will make a very good of the opportunity. The whole class used that opportunity to copy down all the answers due to the fact that the rest of the invigilators were engrossingly paying rapt attention to what is less their business ignoring their major or factual aim of been in our class.
EVELYN: give me that paper **she requested while Tracy reluctantly handed it over to her why she goes through it**
EVELYN: all these answers are 100% accurate. I know only one person who can get it like this but i want you to tell your class who wrote this. **She said drawing the attention of the whole class**
Tracy was shivering but was uttering no word. If she eventually mentions my name, it means that i must face the disciplinary forum with her.
TRACY: i will tell you nothing
She replied which took Miss Evelyn and the whole class by surprise
EVELYN: then you follow me to the staff room **she said with a bit of resignation**
Tracy followed her and was walking toward the door when i shouted
ME: stop
