I was in my room till evening, really mum doesnt seemed like she gonna change her mind anytime soon. Its best i forget this whole idea of trying to be with dera, then i heard a voice no you cant theres always a way. Yess!!! Dad, i still have to make a request but mum will never allow it. Hmmm what do i do now, this time am gonna do it in dad’s way and smiled. I quickly washed up and was dressed, then i tiptoed downstairs and saw mum watching her boring soaps, she didnt seem to notice. Then i walked behind the couch and planted a kiss on her hair

Mum: looking up, deee!!
Me: smiling have missed you mum, i said holding her shoulders and placing my cheek on hers
Mum: what changed your mind dee!!!, she said looking suprised.
Me; do you really think i can be mad at you, even when i get am mad at you, i cant stay mad at you mum. I said sitting next to her and placing my head on her laps, i love you mum
Mum: i love you too dee. We watched the soap together, sometimes she ran her hands through my hairs. Really mums laps was more comfortable than my pillow
Me: can i sleep here mum i said smilling
Mum: you need not ask sweetheart. Soon i fell asleep, then i heard distant whispers, which i couldnt even understand and then i felt a kiss on my fore head. For the first time in days have had a nice sleep not that out of the world crap i was doing in the name of sleeping.

i was suprised to see dee looking so happy, for days now i thought he was angry, so i gave him sometime to cool of. Really i wasnt expecting a renunion sooner. While he slept on me, his words sanged in my head” i really cant be mad at you mum, even when am mad i cant stay mad” i knew that was because he loved me. Finally i was begining to understand why he can never let dera go, i knew how he must have felt.

Just then dad came in
Dad: honey whats happening lookin suprised
Mum; shhhh….your gonna wake my baby
Dad: seriously!!!!
Mum: how was work today?
Dad: fine as usual, i know you’ve missed him, he said smiling
Mum: missed who?
Dad: i saw the look on your face when we came back from vacation, he didnt welcome you and instead of calling you he called me. The first time i ever heard you yelled at him was on sunday, i knew for sure somethings aint in place, he said smiling so what happened honey?

Mum: he’s got a girlfriend.
Dad: seriously have always thought of asking him but i keep forgetting
Mum: yup for now his grounded
Dad: why???
Mum: i dont want my only son going into relationships now, atleast he should wait till his 18.

Dad: seriously your just being over protecting @ his age do you know how many girls i screwed
Mum: just stared at him with raised eye brows
Dad: honey i really need to shower, he stood up quickly and walked into his room, avoiding any further interogation.
Mum: because you screwed so many girls you want my dee to be like you right?? No way!!! she answered and planted a kiss on my fore head
