While smiling back at him, Zeest couldn’t help herself shuddering at his words. He had said the same words before too, she remembered very well. But there was a difference now, and that difference did make a ‘big’ difference.

“So , Mrs. Wife, how’re you feeling today?”

Leaning down, Aariz placed his hands on her shoulders from behind and slowly began to massage them as he brushed his cheek against his wife’s.

“Better, hmm?”

Leaning back against his chest, she said, “The best.”

Slowly she left her chair and came to her feet, gazing at her husband’s image through the mirror.

As she looked up into his handsome face through the mirror, tears came to her eyes, but they were tears of love and joy welling up inside her.

Closing her eyes and sighing with relief, Zeest let her head roll back against Aariz’s shoulder so that he could have unhindered access to her neck. For his part, Aariz took up the invitation and began to trail his lips down his wife’s neck, even going so far as to nibble her skin gently between his teeth in the process.

Goosebumps immediately broke out over her skin. Relaxing even more into the moment, Zeest raised her arms slowly and linked them up and over his neck and pulled Aariz?s face harder against her skin.

“Like it?” He breathed into her ear.

“Umm, love it.” She m0aned, her eyes still closed. “But…I get scared sometimes.”

“Of what?” He asked, slowly turning her toward him so that she was now face to chest with him.

“Tell me,” He whispered. “What are you scared of?”

His fingers were firm and strong as they slowly drew her close. Now his strong and masculine arms were going back around her waist.

Involuntarily, her hands flew around his muscular neck. His lips left the sweetness of hers, and made their way across her cheek to the short flesh of her neck, the fingers ran down to her lips and moved gently along them, and then over her chin. She shivered from the delicate tracing fingertips.

“Of the fate.” She managed to say between gasps.

Sensing Zeest’s natural fear, Aariz softly whispered into her ear, “Do you trust me?”

Zeest slowly nodded her head.

“And do you love me?” Aariz continued.

Again the slow nod.

“Then there’s nothing to be afraid of, is there?”

“No. But what if…”

Aariz placed his index finger on the quivering lips of his wife, silencing her and said, “There are no buts and ifs between us.”

Then adding all the passion of his heart he added, “I’ll never be rough with you. My love will have no whit of my previous harshness.

Believe me, Zeest. Believe me,”

He continued with wonderful warmth, “I will never make you sad, nor heart-sore, nor shall I let your heart to suffer pain and harshness of the world. I’ll guard you; protect you against all the gales of misfortune. I’ll escort you through all the dangers of life. Won’t you let me to do that?”

The shaking of Zeest’s shoulders, which had been subsiding during this exchange, finally stopped.

Taking her hands up to caress his face, she let her eyes find those of Aariz’s in the mirror and smiled wanly.

“Now shall we go for breakfast?” He asked.
“Shush… “ She shushed him with a cat-like grin, silencing him with her hand, her index finger playing with his lips.

Gently, she pushed him back toward the wall,

pinning him softly to it. She then slowly took off his glasses and put her silky hand on his cheek. For the time being, she just experienced the texture of his skin, lightly rubbing her fingers up and down over his cheek.

“Zeest…” He murmured near her ear, as she la!d her cheek against the inviting flannel of his shirt and sighed, nuzzling ever so lightly.

“Hmm?” She made the sound through another sigh, not wanting to break the spell by opening her eyes.

“You are beautiful, you know.”

She didn’t reply, she was too busy in feeling and perceiving him.

“I want to tell you so much about you but,” He murmured softly, his eyes closed. “There are things you get ashamed of because words diminish them, words shrink things that seemed timeless when they were in your head…”

She silenced him, her fingers playing with his lips. He closed his eyes, just feeling the s£nsat!ons of her touch.

“I guess the most important things are the hardest things to say.” She whispered very softly.

“Zeest?”

“Hmm?”

“Breakfast is ready.”

“But, I?m not.” She heard herself say, getting closer. “Atleast, not for breakfast!”
