Hades summoned Hermes in his native tongue
and ordered him to bring forth the soul of Emili Piri from the mortal world. Nigeria specifically.

The servant of the gods disappeared and appeared again in less than five minutes with the soul of Piri. Hermes snapped his fingers, a white mist forming from his fingers until it
transformed into the shape of a man, the physique of Piri.

His body was dirty and the blood of the mortal was gushing from his body. The blood looked fresh which meant he just died in the mortal world. Hermes had used the accident means to make him die quickly.

Hades looked at Elyme as if to ask if she had seen him or not. He breathed in and sent his soul to the hall of judgment for him to be judged. He definitely was going to
Tartarus. He whispered to Hermes, telling him to inform the judges to send Piri to the hottest tunnel in Tartarus and he should be tormented immensely. He dismissed them and they both disappeared. He seemed calm and satisfied with what he had done. He knew he would
have to answer to the Fates as they would be curious to know how Piri died since his name wasn’t in the list of those that were destined by them to die.

He was about walking out of the room when he noticed a small piece of paper on Elyme’s bed. He knew it wasn’t ordinary as he felt its power. He moved closer to it and picked it up. Elyme sighed and watched him closely, hoping he wouldn’t do anything silly.

‘I hope to see you at the usual place this evening.. love from Jims’ Hades read out the words in the paper and turned to face Elyme.
“Who is jims? Who gave you this paper? Why have you been going out of my kingdom!” he barked, looking hungry for her answers.

She went dumbfounded and couldn’t find the right answer to give.

“Is he your boyfriend?” he asked in a menacing tone.

Elyme took a step back from him.

“Yes. He is my boyfriend. We were exclusively dating each other till you took me away from him” she answered and then lifted her chin in a defiant gesture.

Hades stepped closer to her. He breathed deeply a few times until the rage faded from his eyes.

“Elyme, you are my fated half. You have to forget him and come to terms with how you’ve been destined”
“He is my boyfriend and I love him. Nothing can change that” she spoke boldly and strongly. Like there was a source she was getting the courage from.

“You are mine! We are destined to be together.

That’s how the fates destined it to be”
“You are destined for death….” The Fates words to her
on her birthday came to her ears. She had thought she was destined to die but no.. She was actually destined to
be with the god of death-Hades.

“Look, they might have made a mistake. We can’t be together, I hate you!” she answered. Hurt flashed across
Hades’ handsome features.

“Why? Don’t you want me?” he asked in a pained tone.

Elyme shook her head. “I want Jimi. I don’t believe in destiny”
She looked at him and saw a hint of tears in his eyes.

He blinked and instantly it was gone. He stretched forth his hand and instantly, the magic note tore into pieces.

“Oh! No” Elyme cried.
“I know Adriane knows about this despite the fact that I told her not to allow you out of this palace”
“Hades please, don’t do anything to Adriane.
She’s innocent. Please, I don’t want to lose her. I can’t begin to imagine life in the underworld without her”
“Please Hades, please “she pleaded, falling down to her feet and sobbing hard. Her tears was breaking him so he accepted not to destroy her. She wouldn’t want
Adriane to go through re-incarnation again.
Hades closed his eyes.

“One last thing” he muttered as he stretched his long fingers at Elyme and said somethings in his native language. Even though it was painful, he wiped off every memory of Jimi and her whole life in the mortal
world.
