Although the castle was extravagant and
enormous, she found her way to the
dinning quite easily but what she saw
wasn’t anything she expected. Her eyes
widened as she ran to Hades who was
coughing and holding his throat as his
fingernails dug unto the dinning floor.
“Hades, are you okay? What’s wrong?”
He looked up at her, his eyes flashing
different shades of blue and he groaned
out loud, ”Get away!”
She frowned and ignored what he had just
said.

“Hades, what’s wrong?” she asked again.
He growled the sound coming deep from
within his chest and sounding feral.
“Get away now!”
“Hades, what happened? What did you eat?”
“Aphrodite” he coughed out, deepening his
voice to sound so husky that shivers began
to run down her back.
“She poisoned me” He added, holding onto
his chest as the pain came again, more
excruciating.
“Aphrodite poisoned you? Why? Are you
going to die?”
Hades shook his head, staring up at her
with hungry eyes and growled
“You have to leave now Elyme.
Tell Adriane and the rest of the female
servants to leave the castle. You can
summon the male guards to stay with me”
Elyme narrowed her eyes and looked as if
she didn’t understand a thing.
“Go now! It’ll go away eventually but
every woman near me will become desirable”
“What?”
“That’s the spell Aphrodite casted into
the food I ate. Right now, she’s the one
controlling my emotions and making me
sexually hungry. She made the S#xual beast
I’ve been holding back ever since Persephone
left me come out” He groaned and stared
at her with dark predatory eyes.

“What could break the spell and make you
the pain go?”She found herself asking.
“Right now, you are like an aphrodisiac.
Your smell is a thousand times more
enhanced than it usually is and its driving
me insane. You need to get out of her
now, I can’t hold myself much longer”
“Am not going anywhere, I want to help
you so the earlier you tell me what will
break the spell, the better for you”
Elyme said, crossing her hands over her
chest and standing rigidly. She didn’t know
why she said so, she didn’t know why she
wanted to help someone that had been so
mean to her, she just wanted to. She
watched as his face turned deathly white.

Adrenaline rushed through his veins as he
managed to hold himself a bit more.
Fine! Standing before him was his destined.

His fated. But he didn’t want to take
advantage of her. It would be the most
irresponsible thing to do as the king of
the underworld and it would further ignite
the Fates’ anger. Hades stared at her and
she stared back at him too.

The forces of attraction in the room grew stronger and it seemed the time stood still as they both stared at each other, Elyme standing
with her hands akimbo which gave no clue
to her thoughts, emotions or feelings.
