able to gather fifteen pearls!” Hera
announced.

Hades groaned. He was said he lost the
first game.
That wasn’t a good start at all.
Athena walked towards him and handed
the pouch to him.
“Keep it uncle, it’s yours” the dark skinned
goddess said. Hades sighed and collected it
from her. He was going to give Elyme.
At least, if he couldn’t impress her by
winning the game, he could create a
beautiful rose flower. His demeanor
softened and he relaxed as he watched his
queen to be walk to the hall for lunch.
She had Adriane beside her and they were
chattering away.
Yes! He was gonna make his queen a
beautiful rose with glittering petals.
He went to enjoy the breeze and fresh air
near the lake and he quickly had a nap.
This time, it was long enough to ease off
his muscles and bones.
“Hello gods and goddesses. I hope we’ve
had a wonderful lunch.
Welcome to the second part of the Olympic Games.
The second event is called “Save the Damsel in Distress, the goddesses along with some
beautiful nymphs are scattered throughout
Olympus.
They are placed in golden cages
that you can see from a distance. But you
cannot see who’s in the golden cage. It is
up to you to rescue them but it is not
that easy as there are trials along the
way and guardians placed before the
golden cages.
The one who saves the most damsels wins! Not only that, the damsel you save is obligated to give you a reward. Goodluck” Hera winked and dropped the microphone to go meet her husband,
Zeus. Hades could see the other gods
smiling.
The reward they wanted could easily be guessed from the way they thought aloud and grinned sheepishly.
Hades nodded his head in determination.
“I know the damsel I shall save, forget
the others. I wanna save only one and
maybe after I save her, I can ask for a
kiss as a reward” He smiled as he
whispered.
“Hades!” Aphrodite called out behind him.
Had she heard what he whispered? Hades
felt embarrassed. He suppressed the feeling
with a smile. Aphrodite winked and walked
away.

He couldn’t tell if she had heard him.
What was the wink for anyway?
He wondered.
“Three, two, one, Go!” Hera exclaimed, her
shout was followed by another loud horn.
Hades immediately took off into a run just
like the other gods. He was determined to
save just one damsel. After a couple of
minutes of running. He saw a flash of
gold in the distance. He immediately willed
his body to go faster to the direction.
He stopped in his tracks when a centaur
appeared before the cage.
“Hold it!” he exclaimed.
