Story: Daughters!!! - Season 1 - Episode 23

“Think about your….our unborn baby. Tiara won’t let us be and that’s why we….you and me will send her to jail”
“I love my sister”
“You’ll be doing the best thing for her but if you don’t, she will go and hurt more people”
“I can’t have that on my conscience”
“Then do the right thing here and we’ll both have a happy life,don’t you want that?”
“I’ll do it”
“Good”
And Joshua wondered if things would be the same between Fiona and him. He loved Fiona but her sister had turned his father to what he now considered to be am slowpoke

Joshua offered what Fiona had always wanted: stopping Tiara’s madness revenge. Yes, she was happy Joshua wasn’t mad at her but again he had taken it too cool. Maybe she shouldn’t have told him but it seemed like the best thing to do. Joshua loved her and Tiara’s revenge wouldn’t stop him from loving her less, would it?

Pedro whistled to himself as he drove back to Tiara. God! how he loved her…..No,it can’t be love, can it?
Before he could get a chance to answer his question, his phone rang,seeing the caller was,he could guess why Steve was calling him
“Hey Steel, I’m driving. Could you call me back?”
“No puppy, the boss is really getting anxious. The board meeting would be a day after tomorrow and he wants to know the owner of the shares before the board meeting”
“Tell your boss I am doing my job and he should leave me be”
“Do you know who Robert Obiaku is?”
“Yeah”,Pedro scoffed- the man who cheated his partner our of his company
“All I’m saying is that,it couldn’t hurt to take this job a little more serious”
“Actually the problem is,I take it a little too serious”
“Look,I’ll talk to you later”
The call ended

Liza watched as Tiara descended down the stairs in a Burberry gown that stopped above her knees. Liza tried to remember if she has seen Tiara in anything but gown but she found no memories.
“Is Pedro back yet?”,Tiara asked
“No”
“Hmmm”
“What does ‘hmmm’ mean exactly, Yes or No?
A knock was heard from the door and Tiara was grateful for that knock
“Yes do come in”,Liza shouted
Two uniformed and one un-uniformed police officers came in and walked up to Liza.
“Are you Tiara Michaels?”,the un-uniformed one asked
Liza was too shocked and confused to answer bringing forth silence.
Tiara’s cold voice broke the silence “I am”
Liza would see the police officers as they walked up to Tiara,she could hear one of them say “You are under arrest for the attempted murder on Paul Green. Anything you say or do now would be used against you in the law court. If you don’t have an attorney,the state will provide one for you. Let’s go”.
Liza watched them take her sister and she slumped into the chair.

Pedro honked when he got to the gate of Tiara’s house as he thought of many ways he would break the good news to her. He had revised many statements on his way coming. He laughed as he watched the security guards open the gate. His laughter increased as he walked into the house and his laughter faded as he heard Liza’s sobs. Many thoughts ran through his mind as he increased his pace to ask what the problem was from Liza. He turned her to face him
“What’s the matter? Where’s Tiara?”,Pedro asked looking directly into Liza’s already red bulging eyes.
‘”Tia got arrested”
Pedro was shocked but not surprised. He knew this was bound to happen one day.
“What was the crime?”
“Attempted murder”
“On who?”
“Paul Green”
“I wonder who rattled that to the police. Which police station did they take her to?”
“I don’t know. Didn’t ask them”
“Where’s the nearest police station?”
“You think they would take her there?”
That’s my best bet”
“We should get going”
“I have to make a call first”
He brought his phone out from his pants pocket and dialed a number to someone whom he hadn’t spoken to in years.
“Richard, it’s Pedro”, Pedro spoke to the phone
“Guy! how are you doing!?. It’s been long. I’m talking about three years long”
“Richie, I need a favour from you”,Pedro said ignoring the greeting
“Anything I can do”
“Thank you”
He gave Richard the address of the nearest police station, he would meet Richard there in twenty minutes”

Richard sighted Pedro accompanied with a little but a beautiful lady. When he got closer,he noticed the girl was no older than a eighteen.
“Good to see you,brother”,Richard said as shook hands with Pedro.
“Nice to see you too,brother”,Pedro said as both men or brothers rather, walked into the police station.
“Good day, officers”,Pedro greeted
“Yes. What do you want?”,the officer asked in a rather harsh voice.
“I’m looking for a Tiara Michaels”
“Who is she to you?”
“She’s my client”,Richard took charge
The officers mellowed
“What is my client charged with?”
“Attempted murder on one Mr Paul Green”
“Is there any evidence?”
“One Ms Fiona Michaels would be testifying against her”
“Her sister!?”,Pedro shouted
“Seems so”,the officer answered
“Can we see her?”,Richard asked, taking charge again
“Yes”

Tiara was seated in a dark room. Pedro looked at her and saw she still maintained her coolness, something he always admired her for. He almost smiled but things were so serious.
“Hi,I’m Richard. Your lawyer…” he turned to Pedro and looked back to Tiara and continued “…..His brother”
“You have a brother?”,Tiara and Liza asked in unison
“We’ll talk about that later. Right now, I think Fiona rattled on us to Joshua but I might have a way”
“I need to attend that board meeting”
“It might hurt your sister”
“Do what needs to be done”
