“Why are you staring?” Lee asked. I smiled at her. “You are beautiful ” I said. Lee looked shocked. She was more of a shy girl. I had her number that day. Fifty was done getting mad at me. I walked to his house and found Mia his sister. She gave me d wicked gaze. I drove home. My mum and sister were out. “Hey! Gat weed? ” Cena a guy in our street asked. Since I knew him he always asked that. He was like a lunatic. Wearing his ripped jeans with his rough dreads and head warmer. He lived with his mother though. I didn’t know much about him. “No Cena. Been telling you I don’t smoke.” I answered him and entered my house. Cena walked away dejectedly. He was psycho. I made myself milkshake and thought about sexy Lee. I was gonna call her.

Pictures of Ymcmb crew are pasted on my wall. I am a die hard fan. My laptop sat on the table untouched. I had forgotten to take it to the repairer. I sat on my bed. Lexa was back from school. Lexa is a very smart girl, gonna admit that. She was in her final year. She was just 16. Lexa had skipped some grades. The youngest in her class. Used to attend a private boarding school and was on scholarship. She barged into my room. Lexa always barged. “Marcus did you go to MacDonald today? “Lexa asked me.

“A friend saw you there.”

Lexa left my room shortly. Lexa was very skinny. I hated it. Mum got back from work. Mum worked as a nurse. She wasn’t on nightshift. Lexa and mum really looked alike.

It was late and we had had dinner. Mum was very quiet. Things got odd. She washed the dishes and went to her room. Lexa didn’t notice mum’s behavior. That girl was brilliant but lacked common sense. I knocked on mum’s door. There was no answer. I became very afraid. Mum always answered the door quick. I kept on knocking then Lexa joined me. “Mum!!” We shouted together. “Am calling 911” Lexa said in fear.
