Hanna POV

I saw the birthday video, my heart raced when I saw Ambrose. He had suddenly become so fresh and cute that my mouth water, i couldn’t believe he’s taking good care of Haira. Just like that? I am still here battling shit. Kayode sister wouldn’t let me be, Kayode organised a parlour birthday party for me yesterday and feranmi ruined it. She suddenly came in with two other ladies and smashed my cake. They left everywhere in total mess in just few minutes. It was a retaliation of my actions the other day I guess.

My wedding would hold in two months, I wondered what it would look like. I have been making preparations with Sonia and Laura, most of the bills are on me since the groom isn’t buoyant. Sonia kept the baby, she doesn’t know about Anita yet, I guess she would angrily take the baby off if she sees Fiks woman.

I flip through the fashion magazine I was holding, i would ship my dress from China, I needed to choose the right one. I can’t wait.
I called Kayode to know how his day was going, he refused to pick so i left for his house since its a Saturday. I finally gave him the papers to his new house and he now stays there without feranmi.

I knocked on his door, their was no response. I had to call him over the phone. Shockingly, i collided into Feranmi, she was leaving the house.

“Kayode! This witch again?” I thundered, he sank into a couch in the sitting room and hold his head.

“She’s my sister”
“I bought you this house so she would stay on her own, so what’s your problem? Let this d--n girl stay away from you”
I stood in front of him pointing my hands as I talked.

“Hanna, in the name of God, can we please close this chapter? I can never ever send my sister away from me, never!” He lie down on his back and i scratched my head angrily.
“Fine” I stormed into his room and shut the door instantly.

“Don’t go in there, wait” He shouted but I was already in and the door shut.
“Hey, open this door”
I clapped my hands in admiration, i found sticks of smoked cigarette laying motionlessly on a Stainless tray placed on his bed.
“So you sabi this thing too? You smoke all this sticks right?” I shouted so he could hear me.

“I can explain, it’s not what you think, I don’t smoke” He defended and I nodded. I carried the tray up and found some sheets laying lifelessly on the bed.

I took a glance at them, I don’t understand the words in them but i clearly saw my dad’s signature, a whole lot of it. It looks like someone was trying to forge Phillip’s signature.

“Kayode” I rushed at the door and slam it open.

“Start talking, this?” I flung the sheets at him and he inhaled.

“What about them?” He asked innocently staring at the sheets.

“Were you trying to forge my dad’s signature?” I asked, his eyes dilated, he shook his head softly.
“Are you accusing me of forgery? Look, Feranmi brought our uncle kids here today, they wrote all this gibberish, Just look at this, can you read any of it clearly?” He pushed the papers in my face.

“But I didn’t see any kid, where are the said kids? I met only feranmi here”
“They left already, she only came back to get her phone, she forgot it”
Silence kissed the air, I was confused but not convinced.

“Since you bought me a house and your dad secured a job for me, you think i am a thief right? I might grow up in the ghetto but look, all this money of yours can’t tempt me to do evil” He pushed me aside and went inside. Bringing the tray with him, he stormed towards the kitchen.

I felt embarrassed, maybe he was right after all, i have been over suspecting him lately and I have to loosen up. I can’t wait for him to get as rich as Ambrose.
