Ambrose POV

When I forwarded his full name to some people for investigations, I discovered he’s the CEO of the infant company that wanted to partner with me. I ran through my laptop and accepted the proposal, that was one sure way of getting into that house. I talked to him over the phone and I lied that I stay in South Africa too. It was really easy giving him huge lies because he felt so honoured to partner with a billionaire.

I left for his house that same morning, I left Haira in the hotel because the man knows her well and our plans might be ruined. I needed to see if Eugene is truly in that house, why on earth would she abandon her 17years old sister to sell meat after their parents death when her husband is actually rich?

I made myself comfortable on the chair, Mr Michael sat opposite me with his little boy. I have heard the Sassy of a lady call him Sammy more than a million times since i arrived the house.

“Mr Ford, Infact i am overwhelmed, having you in my house as a business partner or as a guest or as a………….”

“Friend” I quickly said, he has to become my friend seriously, my wife is worried and I have to get to the root of the matter.

“Well, that would be great, since you stay in South Africa too, you can always come in here” He smiled and I nodded.

He asked me to come in with him, he had a office in his home and we were able to discuss business without being disturbed except for Sammy light giggling.

Shortly, a lady walked in with a tray, on it sat two cups of tepid coffee. I didn’t look up, I was too busy studying the documents in front of me.

“Put it beside him and get out now” Mr Micheal fired, i raised my head to see why he sounded upset, behold my head hit the tray and the coffee cups when crashing down.
“Ewwwwh, I am sorry please, it wasn’t intentional” The rough dressed lady went on her kneels. She tied a nylon flower over her head and wore a sack like gown. She looked dirty and unfed. Cane marks all over her exposed shoulder.

“Sassy!” Mr Michael fired, he held his head in his palms and made a grumbling sound.
“Eugene, are you mad? What did you to our visitor’s documents? Look at his dress?” Sassy shouted as she walked into the room. Eugene? Is this haggard lady really the Eugene I and my wife are searching for? No way, is she enslaved here? I thought Haira said she married Mr Micheal?

“Lock her up and flog the hell out of her, no food for a week” Mr Micheal ordered Sassy and my eyes widened as Sassy heartlessly sent a resounding slap across Eugene’s face.

“Please madam, I am fine please, don’t subject her to any punishment” I pleaded taking Eugene by her hand and protecting her behind my back.

“That’s how she misbehaves all the time, she would be flogged and starved for one week” Mr Micheal said and his mistress agreed.

“If you insist, I think i would have to cancel any form of business deal we might be having” I said and he quickly withdrawal his order. I insisted that she was served good food immediately and they did just that.
