Ambrose POV

Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

Midnight.
I thought about our upcoming events, Her birthday is 10th of October, our wedding anniversary is 2nd of March and i was born on Christmas day, 25th December.

We would be out of South Africa mid next month and I thought of celebrating her first birthday as Mrs Ford.

We la!d next to each other, we both couldn’t sleep due to her menstrual cramps. We have been indoor all through except when I went for our food and her pills.

“October Queen, you are yet to say a thing about it” I kissed her head. She was staring into my eyes directly.

“I would love to be on the street maybe I can dedicate my entire day to doing charity” She smiled and I kissed her lips.

“Then you come back home to make love to me”

“Ambroseee, you are spoilt” She hissed turning to the other side. I noticed her white p@anties was stained on the outside and I told her softly.

“You are wet, go change” I kissed her neck and she scoffed.

She lazily got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom.
“Won’t you come with me?” She frowned and I shook my head negatively. I wanted her to do her cleaning herself, I have always washed her up and she’s so use to it.
“Mtcheeeeww” She hissed before storming into the bathroom.
I smiled, Her first day is always like that, we both stay up in the middle of the night staring blankly and hoping that the pain subsides. Sometimes we do crazy exercise in the middle of the night just to relieve her of the pain and kill time.

“I have just two pads left” She complained standing in front of the door, she wore a green p@anties now.
“I would get a pack first thing in the morning” I promised opening my hands for her to sink in.

“Thank you Ambrose” She murmured and I chuckled “For what?”
“Standing up for me and being by my side, I love you” She said and I found myself smiling shyly.

“If it’s not you, then who?” I ran my fingers through her hair and she soon doze off.

I put her to sleep and reached for my laptop, i had work to do and the best time to do that is now. She wouldn’t let me concentrate in the day time.

I went through a business proposal and thought over it. The profit that might be generated would be millions but, the company involved is an infant company and I know Haira wouldn’t want me to partner with them. For the last few months, Her opinion have really helped me when it comes to agriculture. Her no is my no and her yes is my yes. Some of my partners even think i am under a spell with the way I ask for her opinion over every little deal or business proposal. She’s the best after all, though I have been spending so much especially on our present tour, we still had more than enough. I could clearly separate our profit from capital. So far, I could boast of 1.5billion naira in my account.

When it comes to spending, we used our joint account. It was our own way of checking our expenses. I own 80% of the money in the account and she took money from it whenever she wanted to. The last time I checked, we had so much in it, around 25million naira.

I closed my laptop and set it aside, laying down on my side, I took one of her hand in mine and kissed it softly. If not for her business experience, I might not grow so much in a short period.

Then I thought of finalising the house I wanted to buy for her in Dubai, it’s worth a lot, a 200million naira glass house. That would be good for a birthday gift.
