Dial - Season 1 - Episode 70

.
For a brief moment I met the rigid set of her teeth, but I could taste the sweet tangy bourbon on her lips.

My arms went around her, and I wrapped her closer and tighter, warmer and intimately. She murmured under her breath, and then her teeth parted, and she admitted my tongue.

It was a raging fire that consumed us in an instant.

It wasn’t desperate or frenzied, but gentle and sweet. We just stood there, kissing gently, making it seem like forever. She gave as much as she received, and when my lips blazed down her throat she groaned deeply and curled an arm around my neck, her breath coming in short wheezes.

My hands slid down the incredible curves of her hips, and I slowly cupped the sweet m----s of her derriere. She shuddered, and for one brief moment she went absolutely rigid…and then with one deft movement she slid out of the circle of my arms, leaving me panting.

She looked at me for a long time, her brow slightly puckered, her face a little anxious.
“I need more drink,” she whispered, and I raised my eyebrows at her.
“No, you don’t, Dede, dear,” I said gently. “You’ve had enough drink already as it is, and you’re going to have one helluva hangover tomorrow. I think you need more time. Go have a rest, sweetie. We’ll talk about it tomorrow.”

I saw the conflicting emotions raging through her, reflected on her face. She wanted to go ahead, and yet she was being held back by a great inner turmoil. I wondered, briefly, if she were still being torn apart by the fact that I had been close to Akos.
I smiled at her sadly.

“I’ll go to bed too, Dede,” I said gently. “Goodnight.”

I knew that if I stayed I might be tempted to go for her again, but she was the one girl I didn’t want to make love to if she didn’t want it. Apart from the fact that she was Nana b0s0mba’s sister, the truth also remained that I didn’t want to hurt her, in any way.

Maybe, in a way I was changing because, not very long ago, I would have had her by any means possible.

Feeling terribly sad for a moment, I turned away from her and approached the security console, and then I set the security combination that locked the house down from intruders…total lockdown. This combination would bring down hardened metal sheets from the roof that would encompass the whole mansion, and activate screaming alarms if breached, and send a call to five police stations.

Then I walked dejectedly out of a side door that led to a wide corridor. At the end of the corridor were two huge doors shaped like angels. The right one led to my father’s bedroom, and the left one led to mine.

For a moment I hesitated.

I had not been in my dad’s room since his death, reserving it as a form of shrine. It seemed to me that entering the room would make reality sink in that he was no more. Always, when I was alone in the gigantic mansion, it always pleased my heart when I believed that he was still around me.

I opened my door and went in.
