How Do I Return?

“Okay Sir, I will be dear” I said knowing fully well that I cannot deny the ruler of auchi face to face, but I won’t go even though I agree, I just want him of my back.

“Then it is settled, angel will follow you home and she will bring you when its time” he said, as if he read my mind.

“Sir, I know your house and angel should not worry herself I will come by myself” I said.
“Am not saying you won’t but she want to be the one to bring you and I insisted” he said.
“Okay sir” I concluded and came out from his car.

I join Angel on the other car behind and then we zoomed off.

“How did it go?” She asked.

“Your plan work well” I said.

She laugh and apologize, she said she just want me to be alright.

We park in front of my house, she followed me to my room as if I will run away, I invite her in and she sit on the only chair in the room while I change my dress.

“What if I agree to follow you to the hospital, will you call of the dinner?” I ask.

“Yeah, I will if you agree to tell me you are running from treatment too” she said.
“Its a long story and you won’t understand” I said.

“Doesn’t matter, I want to know” she said.
“Okay I will tell you if we return from the hospital” I said.

She was happy, I dress up and her driver took us to the specialist hospital, she took the key to the car and send the driver home, inside the hospital the doctor said I need to stay for a day for full check up, I refuse and Angel agree with me knowing that I will run away again, she told the Doctor to prescribe drugs for me to take which he did, zwe left the hospital and stop at Nwobodo chemist store to bug some drugs, after that she stop at Uchi market to buy foodstuff.


“What do you want to do with all this foodstuffs” I asked.

“I want to cook for you, I will be cooking whose you narrate your story for me” she said smiling.
