I got out of the compound, I didn’t know where to go yet, so I left Christiana’s area, I packed by the road side and called Shola..

Me: I see…. I understand babe. I’m doing okay… and the reading is going well….*I giggled*

Shola: I trust you babe… Sweetheart your baby….

Me: Yea, how’s she doing?

Shola: She’s okay, she keeps disturbing my stomach every now and then…. She can’t wait to see her daddy…

Me: No… How’s school?

Shola: School is okay…. My friends call me “Mummy” now….

As I ended the call, and was about dropping the phone…

I heard the door slam…

I looked towards the passenger door…

I saw this two hefty black guys…. One sat in the passenger seat, the other sat at the back…

Me: Hello, can I help you?

Guy 1: Can you help me?

He landed me a very hot slap….

I knew I was in deep poo…

Guy 2: Where are you from?

Me: Erhmm…. *as I stammered*, Nigeria…..
That was the biggest mistake I made, mentioning Nigeria….

From the back, he landed me a hotter slap…..
If not I had eaten, I could have fainted….

As I tried to get out of the car, the first guy brought out his gun, a .9mm pistol, hmm, I slowly brought the door back to its hinges…

Guy 1: So what are you doing in S.A?

Me: Sir, I came to school here… I’m just a student….

Guy 2: Or you’re here defrauding South Africans….

Guy 1: Where’s your I.D card?

Without wasting time, I brought out the I.D card and showed him…

Guy 1: So who owns the car?

Me: Sir, my girlfriend does…. I just came to get something at the mart…

Guy 1: Where’s your girlfriend?

Me: I left her with her dad sir…. They left with the convoy

Guy 2: Convoy? What do you mean?

Me: Erm, you know her dad is the attorney general… so..

I was cut shut…


Guy 1: What!

Me: Yes sir…

The guy at the back tapped the first one, and they got out of the car… with my phone and key…

They spoke and argued for about 5 minutes….

Guy 1: You see…. You’re going to have to work with us….

Guy 2: We are going to use your connections…

Me: Sir, I don’t understand…

Guy 2: You’ll soon understand….

They left the vehicle, and in no time disappeared into the thin air…

I struggled to look for my phone and the car key…. They left them on the floor…

I took my properties and drove straight to the hotel… I couldn’t even remember the road. So I had to use gps..

I got to the hotel, went to the car park, I bashed into the hotel, without greeting anybody, I went for the lift… in no time, I was in front of the room…
Door was locked, I went back downstairs very angry… I went to the reception…

Me: Hello, please I need my key…

Reptionst: What room sir?

I told her the room….

Reptionst: *She check details on are system….* Can I see an identification card?
I brought out my wallet, to get my I.D card out, and lo and behold, it wasn’t there…

Those guys have taken my school I.D card…

Me: Sorry, I don’t have my I.D with me…

Reptionst: Unfortunately, we would need an I.D before you can be given a spare key…

Me: Spare key? Where’s the original?

Reptionst: Your partner…

Me: Oh I forgot, sorry….

Probably they were beginning to suspect me, so I just lay my cool and sat down gently… I brought out my phone to call Nolly..

Me: Babe, where are you now? I’ve been searching everywhere….

She didn’t say anything but ended the call…
I called again…

The same thing happened

I was in for my own…. I sat down for close to 4 hours, I had about 2 rounds of sleep on that seat..
When I woke up the second time… I remembered Christiana…


I called her immediately…

Me: Hello, I’m in trouble….

Christiana: Hey… your girlfriend?

Me: Yes…. She locked the room and left without saying anything…

Christiana: She locked you inside the room?

Me: No she didn’t… She locked the room before I arrived…

Christiana: oh… I’m not going to be in the hotel till 9p.m… Provide the receptionist with your I.D so they’ll give you a spare..

Me: I don’t have my I.D with me… I must have misplaced it…

Christiana: That’s quite unfortunate… There’s nothing I can do unless I’m there… it’s just policy for a customer to provide an I.D before given a spare…

Me: Okay… Thanks…. I’ll be waiting for you…

I had no choice… I pondered on whether to go out, probably school… But with the experience I just had, I was even scared of going out… I resorted into waiting…

I continued my sleep….

I was woken by a loud tap on my shoulder…

Me: Hey… where’ve you been?

Nolly: Why do you care?

Me: What you mean why I care…

Nolly: I left the car for you…. Or you didn’t know? You would be in the room now if you didn’t know… *She slaps my cheek slowly*

Me: Yea, I knew.. and I went out..

Nolly: Of course…. So where did you go?

Me: I just went around… cos I was bored and couldn’t find you…. I missed you, and you weren’t there for me…

Nolly: Oh, I wasn’t there really?

Me: Babe, have you been drinking? *I stood up and brought my nose close to her mouth*

Me: What! Where did you go? And who got you drunk?

Nolly: You want to know? Idiot!
She went for the lift, I followed her like a fool, after all, key was with her…

We got upstairs in no time, I entered the room and immediately kept the key all to myself…

I went to the shower straight… after I showered, I got back to the room, Nolly was lying on the bed like a useless person…

I took her shoes off, then her trouser….

Nolly: Aww baby… thank you….

I didn’t respond… I took off her top and she was Unclad in no time…

I carried her to the bath, opened the shower on her head…

I got soap, I washed her body thoroughly….
I wasn’t in the mood or anything….

But times came when she would grab my J0yst!ck…

I just made sure she had a good bath…

I got her out of the bath and put a towel around her body….

She looked so beautiful…

I took her to bed…

Put the light off
And we both went to sleep…

Very early
