“Nah don’t worry, staying in one place is not my thing, I need to know how secured the house is,
where are my girls?” I ask.

“Outside, they are watching the road” said Edna.

“Okay good then” I said.
“Let me give you something to eat, sit down” said blessing.

I sat down on the chair facing TV and opposite Edna, her stomach is very big now and I wish she
will agree to go back to Nigeria..

“Tina will have people in every hospital in London looking out for you” I said to Edna..
“Come on, do you know how many hospital is in London, she can’t even cover 5% of it, relax am
safe okay” she said.

“Of course you are, the load will double when you give birth, I just wish you are seeing the
danger like I am” I said.

“I am my dear but I can’t go to Nigeria when my dad is in trouble because the moment I enter
Nigeria I will be arrested and you know that” she said.

“We can stay in hiding, in Lagos”.
“ yeah for how long?” And my dad won’t allow it”

“Of course he won’t know until your child is strong enough to be carried around, we are doing
this for you if we stay here we are not helping at all, once you give birth and you take care of the
child for some months, you can give the baby to your relation while we go and face Tina, you
know we don’t have life until she’s out of the picture”
