Unavoidable Nemesis

“Oh well I can always summon her spirit into another person’s body, so if you don’t want her back you
will do as I say by first driving that little devil” she said opening the door.

“Where are you going?” I ask.
“Follow me let’s go buy something to eat honey” she said and honestly I don’t have much choice that to
follow her, I just hope she won’t cause any trouble there with her big tummy.

Even when I came out of my compound all my neighbors started looking at me wondering how a
pregnant lady manage to get inside my room without their knowledge.

“Why are they starring at me?” ada ask as we walk pass them, I didn’t answer her till we pass all of them.

“I think they are wondering who you are” I said.

We enter MCC road and started walking towards Aba/Owerri Rd.

“What are we buying?” I ask her.
“Anything you want” she said.
“I don’t have much money” I said.
“Relax you won’t spend a dime” she said holding my hands.

We cross the main road and walk inside the restaurant and bar opposite MCC road beside first bank, as
we enter the bar people looking at her which made angry, we enter the bar and we look for a quiet spot,
the thing is that there is no quiet spot, once it’s night chinatown is alway busy, so we just pick a spot
with some other guys sitting surrounding one dinning table, we sat in one cushion chair while other
people occupy the remaining two cushion chairs making it three in total, we sat in front of the two
people, a guy and his girl while the other sit contains three girls drinking anyhow.

The moment we walk in all eyes on her, we sat on the cushion and order for a drink, she insist she must
drink hot, they serve us pepper soup meat and we eat and drink as if we have the money, I know there
will be trouble because I know adaeze don’t have any money with her so I excuse myself and walk out of
the bar, since am with my wallet I walk to the bank to withdraw money with my ATM, when I return I saw her still eating the peppersoup, I wonder how many she has ordered because am seeing five plates
on the table.

The three girls started saying something laughing at us because they were looking at us, I think they
were mocking her because I heard at her age, I look at ada and saw her eyes red suddenly the building
started shaking.
