'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 98 Recap - Aired: Friday 13 October 2017


Amar comes to join Sindoora and Bharat at the table.
Sindoora asks him if he will be attending the award function later that night.



Amar asks Bharat how the interview was.
Bharat ignores him.
Amar asks Sindoora why Bharat is upset.
Sindoora tells him they refused to interview Bharat because Amar wasn't there.



Amar gets upset and says he will call the head of the magazine because Bharat is the one working hard and deserves the award.
Bharat tells Amar not to call because he already has the award since Amar recognises all his hard work.



Amar says Bharat will get the award later at night.
Sindoora asks Amar if he will attend the award.
Amar says he's worried about Divya.



Sindoora says she will get Aditi to stay with Divya so Amar can attend the award ceremony as it is very important to her and Bharat.
Amar agrees.

Aditi helps Amar get ready for the ceremony.
Bharat says he's getting the award because of Amar.
Aditi tells him Amar is very good to him.
She tells him she wants to change her clothes.
Sindoora enters the room and asks Aditi where she's going to.



Aditi says she is going with Bharat.
Sindoora asks if Bharat didn't tell her he was going with Amar so Aditi needs to take care of Divya.
Aditi says it's okay.
At the award ceremony, the family members with the exception of Divya and Aditi, are seated on a table.



When it's time to announce the young business achiever's award, Bharat is nervous till he hears his name.
He gladly stands up to receive the award.
Everyone claps and cheers him on.
Sindoora gives a signal to the Master of ceremony and just as Bharat is about to make a speech, the master of ceremony says the person who really deserves the award is Amar Singh.



Bharat is embarrassed.
Amar is surprised.
The MC invites him on stage.
Amar hesitates but Aniket tells him to go.
Amar gets on stage and thanks them for the award.



Bharat is hurt and livid.
Sindoora sees the look on Bharat's face and she's happy.
When Amar leaves the stage, all the reporters run after him to take photographs and ask him questions.



Bharat watches from the stage then he storms off.
Amar looks around for Bharat.
Bharat is driving at top speed as the anger boils inside of him.
Aditi calls Bharat on the phone but he doesn't answer.



She gets worried.
Bharat stops the car and smashes a bottle of liquor on the ground.
He's drunk.
Back at the house, a party is being held for Bharat and Amar.



Bharat is nowhere to be found.
Guests ask Aditi for Bharat and she tells them that he will soon be around.
Sindoora goes to Aditi to ask where Bharat is.
She tells him he's not answering his phone.
Sindoora says she will call him and he will answer.



She tells Aditi to go and continue her work.
She calls Bharat and he answers.
She asks where he is.
He says he has no idea.
The family members gather together to ask about Bharat.



Sindoora tells them that he's in a meeting.
Amar says from now on, he will let Bharat make all the important decisions concerning the company.
Aniket says it's not a good idea because Bharat still needs to learn.



Uma agrees with Aniket.
Amar says if that's what they want, then he's fine with it.
Bharat staggers into the house and Amar sees him.
He tries to hold Bharat but Bharat shoves him off.



Amar asks Bharat if he's drunk.
Bharat says he is.
Amar says everyone missed him.
Bharat says his presence doesn't make a difference as long as Amar was present.
He tries to go upstairs but he falls backwards and Amar catches him.




Amar takes him to his room.
He remembers Bharat's words that his own presence doesn't make a difference as long as Amar was present.
In the morning, Aditi brings tea to Bharat and asks him what's wrong.



Bharat says he does everything but he doesn't get any credit for it and all the credit goes to Amar.
Aditi assures him that Amar loves him a lot.
She tells him it was Amar who brought him to his room and helped him take his shoes and socks off.
Bharat says Amar was just pretending.
Aditi says Amar was talking about letting
Bharat run the company.



Bharat says he won't because Amar just wants him to do all the work while Amar takes all the credit.
He brings out a suitcase and begins to fill it with his clothes.



Aditi asks what he's doing.
Bharat says he's leaving the house as he feels suffocated and in a few days, Aditi will come as well.
Aditi runs out of the room to look for Amar but she finds him playing with Diya and she's unable to tell him.



She decides to get Divya to help.
Divya is in the room staring at a photograph.
Aditi comes in crying.
Divya asks her why she's crying.
Aditi tells her that Bharat is leaving the house and only Divya can help because Sindoora has poisoned Bharat's mind against Amar.




Divya asks why Bharat will listen to her.
She shocks Aditi by asking who Bharat is.
Aditi sees Divya had been staring at Sindoora's photo.
Bharat is ready to leave.
Sindoora says she will never leave her child
alone so she doesn't know why he wants to
leave her.



He hugs her.
She tells him nobody will bother about him if he leaves but she wants him to stay and fight and she will support him.
Bharat promises not to leave the house and he will win the battle.



Amar sees Aditi crying by the window.
He asks her what's wrong.
She ways it's nothing.
He begs her to stop crying and tell him what's wrong.



As she's about to speak, she sees Bharat going to work with just his briefcase.
Amar tells Bharat that's he should just talk to him if he has a problem.



He promises that nothing can come between them.
He begs Bharat to promise he won't come home drunk again.
Bharat makes the promise.
Amar hugs him.



Aditi wonders what Bharat is up to.
Bharat tells himself that if Amar can change, so can he.
