'Twist of Fate' Season 1 Final

Pragya enters Abhi's hospital room.
He takes off his oxygen mask when he sees her.
She smiles.



Abhi ignores her and tells the nurse that he's tired of telling her to call his family.
The nurse asks Pragya if Abhi doesn't recognise her.
Pragya is shocked.
She runs out of the room to tell the doctor that her husband doesn't recognise her and is still asking to see his family.




The doctor goes into the room.
Grandmother asks Pragya what happened.
Pragya tells her that Abhi doesn't recognise her.
Alia and Tanu stare at one another.
The doctor comes back out.
Pragya asks what the situation is.
The family members are all gathered.




The doctor informs them that Abhi has retrograde amnesia.
Grandmother says she doesn't understand.
The doctor says Abhi doesn't remember some things so the family members should talk to him to see what he remembers.
Mitali says she hopes he remembers them.
The doctor says he might remember those he has known all his life but not people he met recently.




He tells them to be careful of what they tell him so it doesn't have an adverse effect.
Alia enters Abhi's room.
He asks when she got back from Australia where she's supposed to be studying.
Alia is shocked.




She asks if he remembers her.
He says he was the one who sent her to Australia.
He asks if she's not supposed to be writing her exams.
Alia says she already wrote her exams.
Abhi says he doesn't know why he can't remember things.




Alia says she will tell him all that happened.
Abhi says he is sure she got the highest score in her exams.
Alia says of course.
Abhi asks for a hug.
She hugs him.
Raj asks the doctor if there is any medicine for Abhi.





The doctor says there is no medicine and only time can heal him.
Abhi asks Alia if he was in an accident.
Alia tells him not to worry.
She thinks to herself that her exams were in January 2014 and Abhi doesn't seem to remember anything past then, including his marriage to Pragya which means that sheand Tanu have struck the jackpot.




Abhi asks for his grandmother.
Alia says she would get her.
Purab asks the doctor what phase of Abhi's life he remembers and what he has forgotten.
The doctor says he doesn't know and he doesn't want them to ask Abhi questions so he doesn't have to think too hard to remember.
Grandmother says she can't believe he doesn't even remember his wife.





Purab says they need to know so that they can know who would see him.
Alia comes out to tell them that Abhi doesn't remember what happened in the last 2 and half years.



Purab asks how she knows.
Alia says she just saw Abhi and he was asking her about her exams that she had 2 and a half years ago and he doesn't even remember they had any issues, he only remembers her studies and his thriving music career.



She tells Grandmother that Abhi wants to see her.
Grandmother goes into the room.
Pragya sits down.
She is weakened by the fact that Abhi doesn't remember she's his wife and she has now become a stranger to him.



Purab and Grandmother enter the room.
Abhi recognises them.
He asks why they didn't come to see him.
He tells Purab that he's upset with him for not coming to his birthday because he had to go to a meeting.



He says he's not sure it was his birthday but he knows he's upset with Purab and doesn't know why.
Purab tells him to just relax and think about his shows.
Abhi asks his grandmother why she's crying.
He says he wants her to listen to a new song he has been working on and he wants her to listen to it.



He sings 'Love Love Happy Love' to her.
Purab tells himself that Abhi has gone back to the time when he was shallow and recorded the song.
Tanu asks Alia if she was saying the truth.
Alia says it's the truth.



Tanu gets excited and says it means he still remembers he wants to marry her and not Pragya.
Alia smiles and says Abhi also doesn't remember her engagement to Purab was called off.
Tanu tells Alia to pinch her and tell her that Abhi doesn't remember Pragya.
Alia says Pragya is now a stranger to him.
She says she has an opportunity now to correct
her mistakes.




Tanu says she also wants to correct the mistake she made when she refused to marry Abhi when he proposed to her.
She is about to go into the room but Alia stops her and tells her that Abhi might not remember her because he was dating a supermodel and Tanu's body has changed due to the pregnancy.
Abhi is asleep.




He gets flashes of the accident.
Alia enters the room and asks if he's having a nightmare.
Abhi says he's trying to remember things.
Alia tells him he shouldn't think too much about it but wait till it all comes back to him.
Abhi says his family is with him so he has nothing to worry about.




Pragya watches from the window as Alia takes care of Abhi and feeds him.
Grandmother consoles her as she cries.
Purab brings Abhi flowers and Abhi plays with him.



Purab goes outside and sees Pragya looking sad.
Pragya is at home.
The cook asks what she should make for Abhi.
Pragya tells her to make him vegetable curry.
Robin comes to call Pragya.



He tells her to go and see what is happening in her room.
Pragya gets to her room and sees Tanu throwing her things out.
Pragya gives Tanu a slap and tells her not to touch her things.




Alia tells Pragya that they can throw her out because Abhi has no idea who she is.
She says the doctor instructed that everything at home should be the way they were 2 and half years ago andShe says Abhi doesn't remember her but he remembers the family members, Tanu and Purab.



She says they can't keep Pragya's photos in the house and Pragya can't dress in her wedding chain or apply vermillion in the house because they would make Abhi curious and it might start to affect him.
Pragya says that's not what she wants for Abhi as she would never do anything to hurt him.
Alia tells her to hold her bag and start packing her things.





Tanu tells Alia to stop being rude to Pragya since Pragya has done so much for him and doesn't deserve what Alia is doing.
She winks at Alia and tells Pragya that she knows how it feels and if she was Pragya, she would kill herself.




Alia tells Pragya to just leave as they have had enough of her drama.
Tanu tells Alia that they should throw away Pragya's things first.
Alia picks up the huge wedding photo hanging on the wall above the bed.




Pragya tells her to leave it.
Alia throws the photo on the bed.
Pragya breaks down and says it doesn't matter if Abhi doesn't remember her but she would never forget the love they share and she doesn't care if he throws her out of the house.
She asks if they think throwing away the photo can break her marriage.





She tells them to throw away her luggage but she would never leave the house because she will look after Abhi even if she doesn't let him see her.
Grandmother enters the room.
Tanu asks what Pragya would do if Abhi never regains his memory.



Pragya says she doesn't care.
She sees Grandmother and tells her that they threw her things out.
Grandmother takes her out of the room.
Pragya tells her that Alia and Tanu are planning to do something to Abhi and she doesn't want to leave Abhi because she needs to stay in the house and take care of him.



Grandmother shocks her by telling her to leave the house before Abhi comes home.
Pragya asks how she can tell her to leave; she can leave for a couple of days but not forever because she is married to him and made wedding vows.
Grandmother is quiet.




Pragya reminds her that she told her to take care of Abhi and shield him from his enemies and she even became Abhi's enemy when Grandmother asked her to.
She says she can't leave him, she would rather die.




Grandmother begs Pragya to forgive her because she knows she got her and Abhi married and she brought Pragya back to the house to get them back together; she did it all for Abhi's happiness.



She says she thinks Pragya needs to leave now and it's also for Abhi's happiness.
She says she knows she's being unfair by looking out for Abhi's happiness now butshe's exhausted and she lives only for Abhi; if anything happens to Abhi, she would die.
Pragya stares at her in shock.




Grandmother tells her to just stay away from Abhi as her love for him will only bring her pain and she doesn't have to divorce him as their love will still be in her heart.



She is crying.
Pragya gives her a hug then leaves the room.
The family is gathered downstairs.
Pragya is ready to leave
Mitali and Grandmother are crying.
Pragya says goodbye then takes her suitcase and heads towards the front door.




Tanu smiles at her.
Alia stops her at the door and gives her the Fatso doll.
Pragya clutches it to her chest and cries.
