'Twist of Fate' Season 1 Episode 272 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 19 September 2017

The doctors try to cover Abhi's body with a white sheet.
Pragya tells them not to.
She begs the doctors to check him again as he's merely sleeping and will soon open his eyes.
She begs Abhi to open his eyes and she reminds him that he promised to always be with her.

One of the doctors tells his colleague to close the case.
The other doctor says they have to at least show some respect to Pragya.

A nurse comes in to tell Pragya to leave.
Pragya asks her for the medicine the doctor told her to administer to Abhi earlier.
The nurse tells her it's for his heart but it's of no use now that he's dead.
Pragya grabs the syringe from her and injects it into Abhi's heart.
She begs him to wake up or take her with him.
She rests her head on his chest and hears his heartbeat.
She calls the nurse to listen.
The nurse listens with the stethoscope and rushes out to call the doctor.

The doctor says it's not possible.
The nurse assures him that Abhi is really alive.

The doctor examines Abhi again.
He tells Pragya it's a miracle and assures her that they will do their best for him.

Purab brings Grandmother, Mitali, Raj and Akash to the hospital.
Pragya runs into Grandmother's arms.
She tells them that Abhi is in the theatre.
Grandmother asks how it happened.
Pragya tells her they had made up and were excited to come home and inform the family but Abhi went out to get her breakfast then he called her to say someone had tampered with the brakes of the car.

Purab walks away.
Pragya goes to him to ask what's wrong.
Purab says he needs to tell her something.

Alia and Tanu arrive the hospital.
Alia asks Pragya what the situation is with Abhi.
Pragya tells her that he's being operated on.
Tanu and Alia walk away.

Purab tells Pragya that he shouldn't be sympathetic towards Alia because Abhi is his condition because of Alia and Tanu.

Alia goes to Grandmother to ask how Abhi is.
Grandmother walks away from her.

Purab tells Pragya that it was Nikhil who tampered with the brakes and it was a plan by him, Tanu and Alia.

Tanu comes back to Pragya to ask how Abhi is doing.
Pragya gives her a slap then turns to Alia and gives her a slap as well.
She warns them to leave or she would throw them out.
Alia says she's not leaving.
Pragya drags her away.

Sarla calls Purab and Purab tells her what happened to Abhi.

At the hospital entrance, Pragya tells Alia that she doesn't understand how someone could do that to her own brother.
She reminds Alia that Abhi has always loved her and even married Pragya for her, just to make her happy but Alia considers herself an enemy.
Alia starts crying.
Pragya asks what will happen if Abhi dies.
Tanu tells Pragya to stop.
Pragya says she knows they are there to see if their plan failed.
Tanu says they care about Abhi.
Pragya asks why she didn't tell him the baby belonged to Nikhil if she really cared.
Alia says she never wanted Abhi dead.
She says she wanted to kill Pragya and not Abhi.

Pragya is crying.
She says she should have been the one to die.
Purab consoles her and tells her to leave Alia and Tanu as they do not deserve her.
Pragya tells them that maybe God saved her from their plans so she can teach them a lesson.
A nurse comes to inform her that Abhi's operation is complete.

Grandmother asks the doctor how Abhi is doing.
He tells her that Abhi is out of danger.
Pragya thanks him.
The doctor says it was Pragya who saved him.

The family members ask if they can see him.
The doctor says he can only allow Pragya to see him.

Sarla and her mother in law arrive.
They ask Grandmother what happened.
She tells them that Abhi is out of danger.

Nikhil calls Tanu's phone.
She asks why he's been calling her repeatedly.
Nikhil says he needs to know if Abhi now knows about them so they can run.
Tanu says Abhi is unconscious but Pragya knows they were the ones who tampered with the brakes.
She says Alia is no longer on their team and she has suddenly started caring about Abhi.
She tells him not to come to the hospital because Alia wouldn't spare him.
He says he won't come then.

Purab tells the grandmothers that the doctor said Abhi would soon regain consciousness.

Alia sees Purab and she asks when she can see Abhi.
Purab asks how look she would carry on the pretense when she was the one who caused the accident.
Alia says she didn't mean for Abhi to die.
Purab asks if she knows what Abhi would have done if Pragya had died.
He says he is thankful to God that he didn't marry Alia because if he hadn't met Bulbul, he would have been married to Alia.
He calls her very selfish and cold-hearted.
Alia looks at him with hurt written all over her face.
Purab says he and the family have all given up on her and soon her so-called friends will do the same.
He advises her to stay away from Abhi if she truly cares for him.

Pragya is by Abhi's beside.
He is still unconscious and wearing an oxygen mask.

Pragya tells him that she's so happy that God has saved him.
She tells him that they would have a daughter and call her Abhigya and they would also have a son that looks like Abhi.
She tells him that he has to wake up so they can start the family.

In the morning, Pragya goes to wake her mother and grandmother who are sleeping in the waiting room.
She tells them to go home and rest.
They say they can't leave till Abhi regains consciousness.
Sarla tells Pragya to go and freshen up.

Tanu and Alia are still at the hospital.
Tanu tells Alia that she thinks they should leave before Abhi wakes up and files a police report against them for attempted murder.
Alia says she wants to see Abhi wake up before she leaves.
Tanu says it seems Alia must have made a plan to save herself.
Alia says she made a plan and it's to save herself from Tanu.
She walks away.

Pragya is in the bathroom washing her face.
She thinks of Abhi.
A nurse comes to inform her that Abhi is awake.
Pragya runs to Grandmother and the family to inform them.
Grandmother tells her to go and see Abhi first then they will come afterwards.

Tanu panics and decides she will go and see Abhi after Pragya even though she doesn't know if she would come out alive.
