'Twist of Fate' Season 1 Episode 268 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 13 September 2017

Pragya is in the room, crying.
She tells herself that she needs to leave the house so she wouldn't be the cause of Abhi's suffering.

Abhi is still in Tanu's room, mourning the death of the baby.
Tanu tells him that she would never leave him.
Pragya brings her suitcase into Tanu's room and tells Abhi that she wants to leave so he can be happy and she wants to return his property documents to him before leaving.

She gives him the file and a photo falls out.
It's a photo of the two of them on their wedding day.
They both reach for the photo and stare at one another.
Abhi has tears in his eyes.
Tanu tells Pragya that it's time to leave.
Pragya tells Abhi that she came back to the house to save him after her accident and she is leaving now because of him and she hopes he would realise all she did was for him.

Pragya leaves with her suitcase.
Pragya walks into Sarla's house.
Sarla says she wanted to come and see her but her grandmother didn't let her go.
She sees the suitcase by the door and asks why Pragya came with it.
Pragya says she has decided to come back home for everyone's happiness.

Sarla asks what happened.
Pragya says she would leave if her mother doesn't want her to stay but she won't go back to Abhi's place.
Sarla hugs her and tells her it would always be her home and she can come anytime she wants.

Pragya goes into the room.
Tanu is alone in Abhi's room, rejoicing over Pragya's departure.
She tells herself that she doesn't have to have a baby anymore, she can go back to modelling and she would be a rockstar's wife.
She picks up a photo of Pragya and Abhi and she makes fun of Pragya.

She receives a phone call from Alia and she tells her Pragya has left.
Alia is with Nikhil.
Purab is standing by the door and overhears all Tanu is saying.
Sarla is on the phone with Abhi's grandmother accusing her of using Pragya and just throwing her away.

Grandmother asks what she's saying.
Sarla tells her not to pretend to be innocent because she is wrong and has broken her trust.
She says Pragya has left their house and Grandmother didn't do anything.
Grandmother is shocked.

Sarla says if Grandmother had stopped her, Pragya would never have left.
She says she is breaking all ties with her and her family.
The phone drops from Grandmother's hand.
Purab comes downstairs and takes the phone.
He asks Sarla what she told Grandmother.
Sarla says she told her Pragya left.

Purab says he was just about to tell Grandmother as he just discovered himself and Pragya didn't tell any of them.
Grandmother takes the phone and tells Sarla that they can't break ties because she still considers her as family.

She assures her that she won't allow Pragya to leave and she would take care of everything and bring Pragya back.
Grandmother asks Purab why Pragya left.
Purab says he thinks Tanu told Abhi some things and Abhi said things to Pragya to make her leave.

He says he heard Tanu saying she would be going to Nikhil's house to celebrate.
Grandmother says it's all Abhi's fault for not trusting Pragya.
She says she will bring Pragya back and if Abhi doesn't want Pragya, the she would also leave the house.

She resolves togo and tell Abhi it was all her fault and she would tell him about Tanu and Nikhil.
Grandmother enters the room to meet Abhi.
She asks how he could throw Pragya out.
Abhi is in a state of torment.
He says he didn't make Pragya leave.
Grandmother says he forced her to leave.

She asks if he has also broken ties with her like he did to Pragya.
He calls her granny.
She tells him not to call her granny after doing such a thing without consulting her;if he thinks Pragya was wrong then she would also not be able to live with him anymore because she is going to be with her daughter in law and Abhi can stay with Tanu.

Abhi tells her has decided that he never had a family because Pragya has left him and now his grandmother is also leaving.
He says he always loved Tanu but Grandmother and Alia made him marry Pragya that he didn't love and he later fell in love with her and she treated him badly and even took his child.

He asks why Pragya took away his child.
Purab enters the room.
Abhi says he has lost his child and the woman he loves left him now Grandmother wants to leave too soHe says he won't be able to live in the house anymore.
Grandmother says he can't leave.

Abhi asks why he still has to live in the house.
He walks out and ignores Grandmother and Purab as they try to stop him.
Purab comes to Sarla's house to ask for Pragya.
Sarla tells him that Pragya has locked herself in the room.
Purab says it's urgent and he needs to talk to her.

He knocks on her door and begs her to open the door.
She opens and he tells her that Abhi is very lonely without her as he thinks he lost his child.
Pragya says Abhi needs Tanu now and not her.
Purab says Tanu is not bothered that she lost her child, instead, she's celebrating with Nikhil.
He says when Abhi got the news at 12 years old that he lost his mother, he wanted to kill himself by going to lie on the railway track but Grandmother saved him in time.

He says he's now afraid he might try something similar.
Pragya asks where he is.
Purab says he left the house and they don't know where he has gone.
Pragya says Tanu said she was going to take care of him.
Purab says Tanu doesn't care about Abhi and she's out celebrating.
Pragya walks out.

Tanu is with Alia and Nikhil, celebrating with drinks.
Pragya comes in and gives Tanu a slap.
She asks if this is how she's taking care of Abhi by out celebrating.
She says Tanu is out celebrating her child's death while Abhi who is not the real father is mourning.

She tells Alia that even as she's not with her family she hasn't changed.
She accuses Nikhil of killing his own child for money.
She says she left Abhi so that Tanu could make him happy but now she knows Abhi needs her.
Tanu asks what Pragya would do.
Pragya shows them her phone and says she has the evidence in it.

Nikhil tries to take the phone from her as she leaves but she fights him off and hits him on the head with a figurine.
Alia runs after her but Pragya manages to get outside the door and she locks them inside.
Her saree gets caught in the door and Alia tries to pull it but Pragya struggles and a part or her saree tears off.

Pragya returns to Abhi's house calling for him.
She sees Grandmother praying for her.
Grandmother gives her a slap and asks if she got her married to Abhi so she could leave.
Pragya says she's sorry she left and she now realises that Abhi can only be happy with her.
She asks where he is.

Grandmother says he left the house and she doesn't know where he has gone.
Pragya says she will find him.
Alia asks Nikhil why he couldn't stop Pragya.
Nikhil says he tried to stop her but Pragya was vicious.
Tanu says if she wasn't injured she would have done something.
Nikhil tells her to shut up as it is all her fault.
They start arguing and Tanu picks up a knife.
Nikhil tells her to put down the knife.
Alia throws away the knife and reminds them that they have to stop Pragya or they would be in trouble.

She tells Nikhil to call a friend to come and help them unlock the door.
Pragya is in the car making calls to find out where Abhi can be.
Nobody has seen him.
She remembers a time he told her he has a place he goes to when he's angry.
She calls Purab to tell him that she knows where he is.

He offers to come along.
She tells him not to worry as she wants to tell Abhi everything by herself.
Nikhil's friend comes to open the door.
Tanu suggests they go home and stop Pragya.
Nikhil says they need to find a permanent solution to their problem and that is Pragya's death.

Pragya is driving in the rain.
She watches the recording on her phone that has the full confession from Tanu and Nikhil and sheprays that Abhi believes her when she tells him.
