'Twist of Fate' Season 1 Episode 266 Recap - Aired: Monday 11 September 2017

Pragya's grandmother tells Abhi that he's endangering Pragya's life as he has been toying with her emotions and he's having a baby with another woman.

Purab begs Pragya's grandmother to say what she's hiding.
She says Pragya doesn't want anything, she just wants a divorce.
Abhi says he can't sign till Pragya comes to see him.
Tanu is getting frustrated.

Abhi says he will go to Sarlas house to see Pragya.
Her grandmother tells him he can't go.
Abhi says she can't stop him.

Abhi gets to Sarla's house and he starts shouting for Pragya to come out because he won't leave till he sees her.

Pragya is still tied up in the warehouse.
Pari tells her not to cry.

Abhi asks Pragya's grandmother why she said Pragya was home.
Janke tells him that Pragya has gone to the market with Sarla.
Abhi says she's lying because the Pragya he knows won't send him divorce papers then go shopping.

He sees an artwork of Bulbul and Pragya on the wall with both their signatures.
He realises it is the same signature as the one on the divorce papers.
He becomes heartbroken and asks her grandmother how Pragya would want to divorce him.

Pragya wishes she could find a way to get across to Abhi.

Tanu comes to see Alia.
Alia says Tanu needs to use her unborn child to emotionally blackmail Abhi and get him to sign the divorce papers.
Tanu thanks her.

Purab tells Abhi's grandmother that he knows something is wrong as Pragya would never sign the divorce papers.
He says he tried talking to Nikhil and Nikhil said he had no idea about anything but he knew Nikhil was lying.
Grandmother says she will go and ask someone who knows.
She leaves the house.

Abhi returns home.
Tanu sees him and cries out in pain
Abhi asks if he should call a doctor.
She tells him not to and she complains that he doesn't care about her but about Pragya who doesn't care about him.
She tells him to sign the papers.

Abhi's grandmother comes to Sarla's house.
She asks to see Pragya.
Pragya's grandmother and Janke tell her that Pragya is not home.
She asks to see Sarla.
They tell her Sarla is home but wouldn't want to see her just like Pragya.
She begs them to tell her what's going on.
Pragya's grandmother opens up and tells her that Pragya has been kidnapped again and if they don't get Abhi to sign, they would kill Pragya.
Abhi's grandmother breaks down in tears.

Tanu continues trying to convince Abhi to sign.
Abhi takes the papers from her and says she's right.
He signs and gives her the papers.
She hugs him and tells him it's the best decision he has made in a long time.
She tells him to wait and see how things fall into place.

Akash and Purab are in the living room.

Grandmother returns home, furious.

Akash and Purab try to talk to her but she ignores them and heads straight upstairs to Tanu's room.
She sees Tanu with the divorce papers and gives her a dirty slap.
Tanu is shocked.

Grandmother asks her how dare she touch Pragya.
Tanu realises Pragya's mother or grandmother must have told her.
Grandmother says ever since she met Tanu, she knew she was evil and not even Pragya's goodness could change her.
She says she is now depriving her baby of his real father's name.
Tanu looks in shock.
Grandmother says Pragya told her and she wanted to tell Abhi but Pragya told her not to and she was the one who came up with a plan to make Pragya the boss.
She tells Tanu to just leave Pragya because her grandson would never be Tanu's.
Tanu says Abhi loved her ever before he met Pragya.
Grandmother says she won't let Abhi sign the divorce papers.
Tanu shows her the signed papers.
Grandmother is heart broken.
Tanu snatches the papers from her before she has a chance to do anything.
She tells Grandmother to start planning her wedding to Abhi.

Nikhil is in the warehouse where Pragya is being held.
He tells her he's so happy and it's because Abhi has signed the papers.
Pragya says it's a lie as Abhi would never sign the papers.
Nikhil shows her a copy of the document on his phone.
Pragya starts crying.

Grandmother decides to go and tell Abhi the truth.
She comes into Abhi's room and meets him in a bad mood shouting at Robin and Akash.
He sees her and she asks him why he was rude to Akash who is his cousin.
Abhi says he has lost faith in relationships and only trusts her.
She is about to tell him what happened to Pragya but she remembers Pragya's grandmother begging her not to tell Abhi so that Pragya doesn't get killed.

She prays in her heart for God to save Pragya and Abhi.

The leader of Nikhil's men comes to meet Pragya.
He tells her that he has done everything for her and even hid the fact that she tried to call Abhi from Nikhil.
He continues to rant in his drunken state.
As he turns to leave, he falls and down and breaks a glass.

He walks off.

Pragya moves with the chair she's tied to, towards the glass.
She topples over sideways to the ground.

Abhi breaks a framed photo of him and Pragya from their wedding day.

Pragya starts to cut her ropes with the shards of the broken glass.

Abhi picks up the photo and weeps.

Pragya cuts the ropes and goes to look for Sheila's daughter, Pari.

One of the kidnappers is sleeping in a chair next to Pari, holding her hand.

Pragya takes Pari's hand away and replaces it with a stick.

She is able to leave the warehouse with Pari but they get outside and the gate is locked.

The kidnapper who was watching over Pari wakes up and goes to inform his boss that Pragya and Pari escaped.

Pragya and Pari run through the bush till they get to the main road.
They stop a rickshaw and Pragya tells the driver to take them to Sheila's house.

Tanu is in the car with Nikhil.
Tanu is gushing about how she can't wait to show Pragya the divorce papers signed by Abhi.

Nikhil gets a call from the leader of the kidnappers who tells him that Pragya and Pari escaped.
Tanu starts to blame Nikhil.
Nikhil says Pragya should be on her way to Sheila's house.

Pragya is at Sheila's place with Pari.
Pari thanks her for all she had done for her.
