'Twist of Fate' Season 1 Episode 264 Recap - Aired: Thursday 07 September 2017

Pragya thanks Sheila for helping her.
She tells Abhi that Sheila is her old childhood friend whom she ran into at the hospital the day Tanu was taken there for treatment.
Sheila confirms it.

Tanu begs Abhi to believe her
Abhi says he can't ignore the report from the doctor.
He asks why she did what she did and used her baby to manipulate him.
Tanu says she didn't do that.
He tells her the relationship is over and she has to leave.
Tanu starts crying and begging Abhi to believe her.

She begs Sheila to tell the truth for the sake of her baby.
Sheila looks like she's feeling guilty.
She tells Pragya to forgive her as she can't lie anymore because an innocent child's life is involved.
She says Tanu's report is the real one.

Everyone is shocked.

Pragya asks Sheila what she is saying.
Sheila says she can't lie anymore and she only lied about the fake report because Pragya made her do it.
Abhi asks if she knows how serious the issue is.
Sheila says she knows and she's sorry.
Tanu tells Abhi that he can now see Pragya is a liar.

Pragya asks Sheila why she offered to help her as the DNA test was never her idea.
Sheila says she's sorry.
She runs out.

Tanu starts to attack Pragya verbally.
She holds her stomach and says the baby belongs to her and Abhi and Pragya cannot break them up.

Later on, Nikhil is with Tanu in her room.
Pragya enters and asks Tanu when she would stop what she's doing.
Tanu says she would never stop till she reaches her end goal.
She says she suspected that Pragya was up to something and she kept an eye on her so when she went to the hospital with Abhi, she followed and spoke to the nurse who told her everything.
Pragya asks how long she would continue to lie about the DNA report.
Tanu says for as long as she has Sheila on her side.
Nikhil asks what Pragya is still doing in the house.

Pragya drives to Sheila's house.

Tanu asks Nikhil if he did something to make the doctor support them.
He admits he did.

Pragya asks Sheila why she betrayed her that way and to her worst enemy.
Sheila begs Pragya to leave as she doesn't want to talk.
Pragya reminds her that she helped her when she needed Pragya the most.
Sheila begs Pragya to leave.
Pragya asks why she didn't ask her for money if she needed it.
Sheila says she didn't take any money and she didn't do what she did by choice.
Pragya asks why she did it.
Sheila says her daughter has been kidnapped and they threatened to kill her.

Tanu asks Nikhil to tell her what happened.

Nikhil takes her to an apartment and Alia opens the door.
He says Alia kidnapped the doctor's daughter.
Alia says she refused to help Tanu at first but she realised Pragya would have won and she didn't want that.

Pragya consoles Sheila as she cries.
Sheila says Pari, her daughter was kidnapped from school then she got a phone call from a man who threatened to harm Pari if she didn't say Pragya's report was fake.
Pragya assures her that she would bring Pari back to her.

Purab comes to meet Abhi in his room.
Abhi is sitting on the bed and staring into space.
Abhi says he knows Purab wants to tell him to still trust Pragya in spite of everything.

Akash and Grandmother are listening by the door

Abhi says his instincts tell him that Pragya might be right because the doctor changed her statement twice.

Grandmother is happy.

Abhi says he found Tanu's behaviour strange because she didn't need a DNA report if she was telling the truth but Pragya needed one to prove what she was saying.
Purab tries to hide his joy.

Tanu asks how Nikhil and Alia met up to plan the kidnapping.
Nikhil says he called Alia and said the doctor had to be forced to agree with their plan.
Alia says she knew they were going to ask the doctor to confirm the report so she decided to have her daughter kidnapped.

Abhi tells Purab that he wants to get to the root of the matter and find out the truth.

Tanu tells Alia and Nikhil that they have to stick together.
Alia tells Nikhil to take care of Sheila's daughter and she warns that Sheila should not get her back until she agrees to leave the city.

Pragya gets to Nikhil's house and he's not home.
She tries to find a way to get on.

She remembers overhearing Nikhil as he told Tanu where he keeps his house keys.

She finds the key and enters the house.

It is dark so she uses her phone torch to find her way.

Nikhil gets home and doesn't find his key at first.
He searches some more and finds it.

Pragya hides inside the house.

She accidentally bumps a table.

Nikhil stands up to check.

Pragya hides.

Nikhil gets a call from the thugs holding Pari hostage.
They complain that she's crying a lot.
Nikhil says aloud that it's his turn to baby sit.
Pragya hears him.

He leaves the house.

Pragya follows.

Abhi is worried about Pragya and he tries to reach her but her phone is switched off.

Pragya tries to call Purab but there is no signal on her phone.

She follows Nikhil to the hideout where Pari is being held.

Nikhil reprimands the thugs for tying Pari's hands to a chair.
He asks why she's crying.
Pari says she wants to go home to her mummy and she has to finish her homework.
He tells her she doesn't have to go to school tomorrow so there is no need for her homework.

Abhi comes to see Sheila at her home.
He begs her to please help him.
Sheila says she can't help him.
She shuts her door.

Nikhil tells the thugs to untie Pari when he leaves and to give her something to eat when she cries.

After he leaves, the leader of the thugs tells his fellow thugs to always check on Pari.

Pragya goes to Pari and tells her not to make a noise because she has to take her home.
Pari picks up her school bag and it knocks over a glass.

One of the thugs goes to check on her and she's not there.
Pragya hides behind the door with Pari.

When all the thugs are in the room, Pragya runs out with Pari and locks the thugs inside.

The thugs argue amongst themselves.
Their leader decides to call Nikhil but his phone is switched off.

Pragya gets to the car with Pari.
She puts Pari inside and buckles her seatbelt.

As soon as Pragya sits down, Nikhil covers her head with a bag.
Pari asks what he's doing.
Nikhil says Pragya is getting suffocated and it will be the last he sees of her.
