'Twist of Fate' Season 1 Episode 261 Recap - Aired: Monday 04 September 2017

Tanu meets Nikhil in a room and tells him she's so happy with how things have turned out.

Nikhil asks if it's because Abhi is jealous.
Tanu says she's enjoying it all because Abhi has added to Pragya's problems by inviting Champak to stay.
Pragya is listening outside the door.

Tanu says she can't wait till Champak comes to the house.
Nikhil says he wants Pragya to sleep in Champak's arms so that when Abhi catches them, he can throw them out.
Pragya hits a vase and Tanu comes out to see who it is.

Pragya runs off to hide.
Purab is back from his travel.
He asks Grandmother, Akash and Rachna what happened at the party after he left.
Akash tells him about Champak.
Purab says he knows it's Tanu and Nikhil's plan.
Pragya walks in to tell them about Tanu and Nikhil's new plan.

Purab says they might succeed and if it happens, he doesn't know how they will get out of it.
Grandmother says she doesn't care how much they plan because Abhi is standing with them.
Abhi sees Champak looking around the living room.

He asks what he's looking at.
Champak says the house looks like it's fit for a king.
Purab asks Grandmother what Abhi would do.
Grandmother says Abhi loves Pragya and knows she wouldn't do such a thing.

She says she spoke to Abhi and it rekindled his love for Pragya and that's why Nikhil and Tanu would never succeed.
She says they will use Tanu and Nikhil's plan against Champak and they will make him run to Tanu and Nikhil to beg them to let him off the hook, when he does that, they will record the conversation and send to Abhi.

Raj brings his children home from school.
Mitali happily welcomes them.
She tries to alk to Raj but he ignores her.
Abhi sees Nikhil and asks for the business he wanted to discuss.
Nikhil says he left an important document at home and will be back tomorrow.

They see the children playing with Champak.
Abhi asks Nikhil what sort of person Champak is.
Nikhil says he finds him strange but it seems those are the types women like these days and that's why Pragya likes him.
Abhi calls everyone to come for lunch.

He is about to sit in his usual seat but Pragya says Champak deserves to sit there as he's a special guest.
Abhi is not happy but he moves.
Pragya orders for a special dish for Champak.
She serves him his meal and tells him as he doesn't want to eat.

Abhi holds on to Purab to stop himself from reacting.
Purab tells Pragya that the food Pragya served Champak lacks flavour.
Pragya says he is watching his weight that's why.
Champak says he is full.

Pragya gives him a glass of juice that's made of garlic and ginger.
Abhi tries to take one of the juice glasses but Pragya tells him it's for Champak.
Abhi gets jealous and leaves the table.
Champak is about to throw up from the taste of the juice.

Robin takes him to the bathroom.
Later, Tanu enters the kitchen and pours some drops of a potion from a small bottle into a glass of juice.
She wonders how she would make Pragya drink it.

She sees Robin taking juice to Pragya but she pushes the tray so the glass of juice falls and shatters.
She gives him the glass of juice in his hand instead to take to Pragya.
Pragya drinks the juice.

Nikhil returns to see Abhi.
Abhi complains about Champak.
Nikhil gives him a contract document and says he has to leave.
He goes to meet Tanu to ask if she remembers the plan.
He tells her that Abhi is angry and jealous of Champak.

Tanu says Pragya has been torturing Champak.
Nikhil asks if she gave Pragya the drug.
Tanu says she did but Pragya is still acting normal.
Nikhil says it takes 4 to 5 hours to work.
He calls Champak and gives him a camera to record Pragya with when he goes to meet her.
Pragya is in her room.

She becomes dizzy.
Champak is ready to go to Pragya.
He takes out the camera.
Pragya passes out.
Champak enters the room and positions the camera at an angle where it can record Pragya.
He turns off the light and switches on the lamp lights then he approachesthe bed.
Abhi is sleeping in a guest room.

He falls out of the bed.
He wonders if he should go back to his room.
He decides to go back to be near Pragya since he wants to win her back.
Pragya asks who is coming to her.
Champak says he's the one.
She asks how he got into her room and tells him to leave.
Abhi gets to the door and realises the light inside the room is off.

He decides to leave as Pragya should be asleep.
Pragya tells Champak to leave her alone.
He says he has given her a drug to make her lose control.
Pragya falls out of the bed and picks up a stick.
She beats him with the stick till he jumps out of the window.

Next morning, a bruised Champak is with Nikhil and Tanu.
Tanu complains about the failed plan.
Nikhil says they will just use the beginning of the video.
He edits it and sends to Tanu's phone.
Tanu is impressed.

Nikhil says he would send it to each and every member of the family and it will end Pragya's marriage.
Abhi is downstairs.
He sees Pragya staggering down the stairs.
Nikhil comes to ask him if he has gone over the contract.
Abhi goes to Pragya and asks her to give him her hand.
She thanks him.

He says she has changed.
She smiles.
He asks what happened and if she didn't sleep last night.
Tanu appears and tells Abhi that he's right as Pragya didn't sleep because her lover didn't allow her.

Abhi asks if she knows what she's saying.
Tanu tells him to stop trusting Pragya because when he sees what she has on her phone, he would stop trusting people altogether.
She shows him the footage.

Abhi is hurt.
Pragya is shocked.
Purab is with Grandmother.
They both receive the video.
Purab says Tanu and Nikhil have succeeded.
Grandmother says they have to find Pragya.
The remaining members of the family receive
the video.

Purab goes to Abhi and tells him it's a misunderstanding as Pragya would never do such a thing.
Tanu tells Purab to stop defending Pragya.
She asks Abhi if he still trusts Pragya after everything.

Abhi doesn't respond.
Tanu accuses Pragya of sleeping with her boyfriend in Abhi's room.
