'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 176 Recap - Aired: Monday 06 November 2017

Oviyon is leaning on a tree on his farm and fiddling with his phone.

Kingsley's car rushes straight at him.
Senami screams.
Kingsley's car crashes into the tree.
Oviyon looks up and he's magically on the other side of the tree.

Matron checks him and he says he's fine.
Kingsley gets out of the car.
Akweyon wakes up in the clinic and Neza tells her to take it easy.

He tells her not to give up and promises that when she gets better, he will take her to eat correct pepper soup.
She asks if he will stop smoking.
He says he doesn't do it all the time.

She tells him to stop it.
He asks if she will get better if he stops smoking.
She nods.
He tells her to promise.

He shows her his pinky finger and she wraps hers around it.
Senami calls Kinsley a bastard.
Matron says he nearly ran Oviyon over.
Kingsley says it's his leg that hasn't healed properly and he couldn't get it off the pedal.
Matron says he shouldn't be driving.
Kingsley says it's incredible that there isn't a scratch on Oviyon.

Oviyon asks Senami if she saw what happened.
Matron says Oviyon appears to be in shock and needs to get to the clinic.
He says he's fine.

Senami walks away and Oviyon follows her.
Kingsley looks upset that he missed his target.
Totai sneaks off from where he was hiding in the bush to spy on them.

Obi is in the palace.
He gets a call from Oye, informing him that a surveyor is coming to Aji to inspect the land.
Obi says they might have to rethink the project.
Oye says the governor already signed off on it.
Obi says the site is a sacred ground.
Oye asks if it's a burial site.
Obi says there is a shrine there.
Oye says the governor already signed off on it and they need to use the land.

Obi asks how he's supposed to explain to his people.
She thanks him for his time and ends the call.
Oviyon stops Senami.
She tells him not to touch her.
He asks where she's going.

She says he told her to go away because she's bad.
Oviyon says she's not bad and he doesn't understand what just happened as he was somewhere and the next, he was elsewhere.
She says she doesn't understand it herself.
He asks why Kingsley wanted to kill him.
She says Kingsley is the least of her problems now.

He asks her to tell him what happened as she was the only one who saw it ; matron didn't .
She says she doesn't know how she did it.
He says so she did it?
She tells him to stay away from her as it's not safe.

She rushes off.
Oviyon returns home.
His mother welcomes him with a meal.
She asks what's wrong.

He says Daddy Love told him that he wants to marry her.
She says he told her but she didn't think he was serious.

Oviyon says he's serious.
Iya says she can't bury another husband and can't start taking care of one when her son is there.

Oviyon moves to sit on the arm of her chair and holds her.
He assures her that he is a big boy and can take care of himself and she deserves to be happy.

Seyive comes to the clinic.
She meets Akweyon sleeping so she sits beside her on the bed and wipes her tears.
Akweyon wakes up.

Seyive says she got her something to eat.
Her eyes well with tears again.
Akweyon says she knows she's going to die as it's her destiny.

Seyive says she has gone to beg Mausi and
nothing will happen to her.
Akweyon says Mausi can't do anything anymore because it is her punishment.
Seyive begs her not to say that as nothing will

happen to her .

Totai comes to the shrine to look for Mausi.
Dethin gestures for him to leave.
Mausi calls out from inside the shrine that he should be allowed inside.

He enters and sees Mausi lying on the ground.
She asks what the matter is.
He tells her thta he was spying on Senami like she asked him to and he saw Senami talking to Matron while Oviyon was leaning on a tree, fiddling with his phone then a car comes to try and knock him down and it was Kingsley driving.

Mausi raises her head.
Totai says Senami now screams at the top of her lungs and he can't explain how it happened but it appeared as though the scream carried Oviyon to the other side.
Mausi asks if he's saying Oviyon flew.

He says he can't explain it because the car went straight for him but the car hit the tree and Oviyon magically appeared on the other side.
Mausi asks what happened next.
Totai says Senami ran and Oviyon followed her.
Mausi thanks him for his update.
Ndidi comes to the lodge to aee Folake.
Folake tells her that her father deserves to be locked up.

Ndidi says she would never have been able to stand up to him if not for Folake and Obi.
Folake tells her he has no power over her as she's grown.
Ndidi gives her a gift bag.
Folake brings out a pair of booties for the baby and she gets emotional.

She apologises and says it's her hormones making her cry.
Ndidi starts crying as well.
Folake begs her to stop.
Ndidi says she was pregnant in the past but her father killed her baby.

Peace comes to the shrine.
She meets Mausi drinking liquor and asks when she started.
Mausi ignores her.
She tells Mausi that she can't become a priestess and doesn't even understand what Mausi has been trying to teach her; her family is making arrangements for her wedding and she just wants a simple life.

Mausi says yes.
Peace thanks Mausi and says she would never forget what Mausi has just done for her.
Mausi tells her to report for her lessons tomorrow.

Peace is in tears.
Mausi tells her not to be late for the lessons.
Mausi turns to Dethin and tells her to go and get Senami and ask her to come to the shrine immediately.
