'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 166 Recap - Aired: Monday 23 October 2017

Obi is on his throne.
Folake is in the palace with him.
He tries to talk to her about the baby.
She tells him she understands he sees her as a criminal.

He says that wasn't what he meant at all.
She gets the credit alert on her phone.
He tells her that he sent the money before he tried to leave so now she can do whatever she decides about the baby.
She gets upset and asks if she's now on her own.

He says he didn't mean that.
She says just as he planned to leave without telling her
He says he's back
She says he didn't come for her and it's fine, he can stay on his own and she wouldn't have anything to do with him.

She says she will send him back the money now.
He says it's hers.
She says it's not hers and she doesn't want his dirty money; she and her child will be okay.
Matron enters Senami's office.
Senami asks how long she has known about Mausi having cancer.

Matron says she didn't know and just assumed something was wrong when Akweyon came to look for Senami.
Senami says it's stage 4 cancer and Mausi would need aggressive chemotherapy but Mausi refused.
Matron says she might have her reason.

Senami asks if it would really be a bad thing if Mausi dies, seeing as she has caused the ruins of so many lives like her grandmother's and Akweyon's.
Matron says maybe Senami shouldn't have come to Aji because it has changed her but it's not her fault and the Seamill who first came for her NYSC would never have harboured such thoughts about anybody.

Totai comes to look for Mausi.
Akweyon orders him to leave by pointing in the direction he came down.
Totai starts calling for Mausi.
Akweyon picks up her egg.
Totai begs her not to do anything to him.
She leaves.

Mausi returns to the shrine and asks if Akweyon has something to ask her.
Akweyon shows her her drugs.
Mausi says Akweyon won't understand.
She says she doesn't need a replacement yet.
Akweyon is about to take off the bandana covering her mouth

Mausi warns her not to.
At the corper's lodge, Folake is looking at a photo of herself and Obi on her phone.
She's crying.
Senami comes to her and begs her to stop crying.
Folake's phone rings.
Senami sees it's the zonal inspector calling.
She asks why he's calling.

Folake's leaves to go and answer the call.
Oviyon is at home working on a very old laptop.
His mother comes out of her room dressed in jeans and a t-shirt and face cap.
Oviyon laughs at her and tells her to greet him for her.

Iya asks who she's supposed to greet.
Oviyon tells her to say hi to Daddy Love.
Jonah comes in and Iya leaves.
Jonah is surprised that Iya is wearing jeans and Oviyon is working on his laptop.
Oviyon says he has a meeting in Lagos and he's working on his presentation.

Jonah says he hopes what happened last time won't repeat himself.
Oviyon says he can't sit and let life pass him by.
Obi comes to Fonton's house to ask where the strangers are.

Fonton says they usually come from Wesere.
He asks what land they can give the people to build their bank.
Obi says Boku Naira is a scam.
Fonton say it's not, he already made money and reinvested.
Obi laughs and tells him Boku Naira is not welcome in Aji.

Fonton goes 'Okroho!'
Obi says since Fonton welcomed them then be will have to be the one to get them out of Aji.
Fonton now goes 'Oje!'
Obi and his guards walk away
Peace is at the shrine with Mausi.
They are both seated on a mat facing each other.

Michael Wealth and his partner come to the palm wine joint.
Doris welcomes them as says they place belonged to where late brother.
Michael asks what happened to him.
Doris says he fell from a palm tree.
Michael's partner tells her that Michael's brother was a builder and he died when he fell from a building.

Doris serves them free palm wine.
Michael orders his partner to give Doris her return on investment.
She is overjoyed to see the money has quintupled.

She reinvests it so it can keep increasing.
Michael says they usually don't do it so quick but they will make an exception for her.
He tells his partner that they haven't wasted their time even if they don't get to see Otogan.
Doris says only an elder to take them there.
Michael says they hope he would be receptive to the business.

Doris say he's a corper and would be receptive.
Michael is shocked that Obi is a corper.
Doris says he came to serve and it was discovered that he is the long list son of Otogan.
Kingsley is with his man in the forest.
His man tells him they will transform the area
in 6 days if there is money.

Kingsley asks for Dr. Jide.
He calls Dr. Jide to tell him to come back to Aji as he is setting up a new base and needs him as their business isn't done.

Dr. Jide days he's not coming and he's well experienced in these things and knows when to cut your losses; they had a good thing but it's now over.
Kingsley asks when it became his decision to make.

Dr. Jide says since he made it and Jide should no longer involve him.
Senami comes to the shrine.
Mausi calls her Osenami Minasu.
Senami asks why she's calling her full name.
Mausi says that's the way Senami likes to shout her name when she wants to fight.

Senami says she's glad to see she has more energy.
Mausi asks when Senami will start her treatment.
Senami asks if it's possible for people to do things they can't explain.
Mausi asks what sort of things.

Senami says things like killing people.
Mausi says just because Senami ignored the darkness doesn't mean the darkness ignored her.
Senami asks why she keeps talking in riddles.
Senami brings out her own laptop and shows Mausi the footage from Kingsley's baby factory.
