'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 154 Recap - Aired: Thursday 05 October 2017

Oviyon, Dr. Jide and Sewedo are in a hotel reception in Wesere.

Dr. Jide requests for 2 rooms.
Oviyon reminds him they are 3 people.
Dr. Jide says he can only pay for 2 rooms and he would take one while Oviyon and Sewedo stay in one.

Oviyon says he wants his own room.
Dr. Jide says he and Oviyon would share a room then and Sewedo can have the other.
The hotel attendant says he only has one double room, a single room and a honeymoon suite and the suite would cost an additional 30 thousand naira.

Dr. Jide shouts and says he can't pay for that.
Oviyon says they would take the other rooms.
Sesinu comes to Kingsley's house.
She meets Saul at the door and she tells him she is an old friend.

He asks what her business is there.
She asks if Kingsley's around.
He says she didn't answer his question.
She orders him to go and tell his Oga that she wants to see him.

Saul says Kingsley is not around.
Kingsley opens the door and Sesinu goes in.
Dr. Jide is alone in the hotel reception.
He calls Sonayan to give her an update.
Sonayan says she's been trying to reach Sewedo but he's not answering her call.

Dr.Jide says maybe he's taking a shower.
Sonayan asks how that is possible when she has been calling since 7am.
She says she would like to speak with Sewedo.
Dr. Jide says he would find him and call her back.

Oviyon enters the reception and tells Dr. Jide that he has been banging on Sewedo's door but Sewedo hasn't answered.
The hotel attendant walks in and tells them that Sewedo dropped his keys and said he wanted to take a stroll.

Oviyon and Jide rush out of the hotel.
They search but they don't see Sewedo anywhere.
They argue and blame one another.
Oviyon says his job was just to get Sewedo out of Aji and he did that.

He suggests they call the police.
Dr. Jide tells him there is no need for that and in fact, Oviyon can go back to Aji.
Oviyon says he can't leave knowing Sewedo is missing.
Dr. Jide tells him to go back.
Oviyon asks how he's supposed to go back.
Dr. Jide asks how someone can leave his village without even 1 nara.

He gives Oviyon some money and Oviyon is not happy with the sum.
He grabs the rest of the money from Dr. Jide's hands.
Dr. Jide tells him not to let anyone know Sewedo is missing.

Oviyon says he will tell the family.
Kingsley tells Sesinu that he cannot rexpress how much he regrets everything that happened and he's grateful for a second chance to explain.
Sesinu says she doesn't know what she's doing
there, maybe she needs some closure about her grandmother.

She asks if he can tell her what happened.
He says it was a mistake as Senami called him on the day of the blood riot and he rushed out; he hit something on his way and he didn't stop because he wanted to get to Senami who was in grave danger.

Sesinu says he left her to die.
Kingsley says he didn't know she was their grandmother.
She asks what that means.
Kingsley says she's not such a bad person and he's still the Kingsley she loved.

She says the man she loved wouldn't have been selling babies.
He says it's not as bad as she makes it sound; it was just helping mothers who didn't want their babies to connect with the ones who needed babies.

Oviyon returns home and meets Nowheyon waiting at his house.
She hugs him and thanks him then she says she had to catch a flight to Abuja and she knows they are friends but she can't say goodbye without kissing him.
She kisses him.

He pulls back and tells her Sewedo is missing.
Folake sees Jonah in the village.
He tells her that Peace dumped him.
Folake asks what he did because Peace is not the one to just dump him.
He tells her to talk to Peace for him.

Folake says she would and would prostrate if she needs to.
Nowheyon asks how Sewedo could just vanish when Oviyon was supposed to be taking care of him.
Oviyon says he doesn't know.
Nowheyon says Oviyon was supposed to take care of him.

She asks what he told her mum.
He says he hasn't told her.
She blames him and says she now has to cancel her trip so she can look for Sewedo.
He wishes her good luck and is about to enter his house.

She stops him and says he lost Sewedo so he has to help look for him.
Oviyon looks like he just realised the enormity of the problem he got himself in.
Folake folds to Peace's house and begs her to come out.

Peace says she doesn't want to see anyone.
Folake says she came alone.
Peace comes outside with the hands covered in a shawl.
Folake suggests they go inside and talk
Peace shakes her head.

Folake asks what's going on with her and Jonah.
Peace says she's not interested in him.
Folake reminds her of how Jonah took her to Lagos to look for her dad.
Peace warns her not to bring up her father.
She turns to leave and Folake pulls her back.
The shawl falls off and Folake sees Mausi's designs on Peace's arms.

Dr. Jide is in his office, clearing up his desk.
Matron walks in and asks if he's going somewhere.
Dr. Jide says he's going on a business trip and doesn't think he would be around for a long time.

Marton says a man is waiting for him in the reception.
Zosu walks in.
Matron asks why he didn't wait like she asked him to.
Dr. Jide tells her not to worry.
She excuses them.

Dr. Jide asks Zosu why he forgot him when he needed his help in getting Sewedo out of Aji.
Zosu says there is another problem,; he just saw Totai and he's really upset.
Dr. Jide asks how Totai is still alive.
Zosu says he was shocked himself and Totai is really upset.

Dr. Jide asks why Totai is angry; whatever Zosu did to him is none of his business.
Zosu tells him not to talk that way.
Dr. Jide says he can see Zosu wants to blackmail him but he has failed because you can't scam a scammer.

Zosu says he's not talking about fraud but something diabolical.
Dr. Jide says 'Jazz my foot.'
Zosu says Totai is under Mausi's spell.
Dr. Jide laughs and tells him to try the jokes somewhere else.
Zosu tells him not to laugh because it's Mausi they are talking about.

Dr. Jide orders him out of his office and advises him to go and change his shirt because he stinks.
Peace collects her shawl and covers the designs.
Folake asks who marked her.

Peace says it's not a mark and it came out of her skin; she has tried everything to remove them but nothing works.
Folake suggests they go to the clinic.
Peace says it's not a clinical matter.
Folake tells her that Jonah would still love her regardless of the marks of her body.

Peace says she can't explain and just wants to go inside.
She goes in.
Oviyon and Nowheyon come to the palace.
Sonayan complains that she can't reach Sewedo and even Dr. Jide is no longer picking her calls.

She recognises Oviyon as the person who went with Dr Jide and Sewedo.
Oviyon says Sewedo ran away from the hotel.
Sonayan starts crying.
She says Mausi has taken her son.
Obi walks in and asks what's going on.
Oviyon tells him everything.

Obi says so Oviyon helped Sewedo escape?
Oviyon says it was Dr. Jide that put Sewedo in a separate room and he vanished in the morning.
Obi says they have a mad man on the loose in Wesere and they need to find him fast.
He tells Oviyon that he would deal with him later.
