It's late in the night.
Doctor Jide's car stops in the middle of the road.
Sonayan panics and asks why they are stopping.

Zosu who is also in the car asks him if the car had issues before.
Doctor says the car was fine before and he suspects if just needs a push.
Zosu panics and says it's Mausi at work.
Dr. Jide tells him not to believe such.
Zosu runs off.

Sonayan holds Dr Jide and reminds him that he promised to get them away from the village
He tells her to calm down but she should know they can't make it to Wesere tonight so they will hide in the clinic till morning.

She's crying.
Next morning, Sesinu arrives at the police station.
The officer who saw Neza shows her a photo.
She asks if he couldn't take a better picture.
He says Neza was running.

She asks about Iya Minasu's hit and run case.
They say no evidence.
She says she can take them to the man who hit her and she has evidence that he did it and also runs a baby factory and she wants them to arrest him or they would have her to contend with.

One of the palace attendants informs Obi that Dr Jide is around to see him.
Obi begrudgingly tells them to let him in.
Dr Jide comes in with a suit carrier.
He wishes Obi a happy birthday.

Obi says it's not his birthday.
Dr. Jide opens the suit carrier to reveal an expensive suit.
He says he brought it for a special man like Obi.
Obi says it's not his birthday.
Jide says he was going to the mechanic and decided to see his dear friend.

Obi says they are not friends.
Dr Jide tells him to let bygones be bygones; who knew that their plan is going to lead to such a big project that now involves millions.
Obi says if only Jide knew it wasn't millions.
Jide asks if it means it involves billions instead.
Obi collects the suit from him and walks away.
Jide calls him back but Obi ignores him.
Oviyon is on his farm

Nowheyon comes to see him.
She sits beside him on the ground and says she needed his help.
He says his hands were tied.
She says her mother is missing and she's afraid that she might have done something.
Oviyon asks why she didn't tell Obi so he could send people out to look for her

Nowheyon says Obi would just gloat and at this point she just wants to help her brother so shewent to see Mausi to see if she could let Sewedo go.
He says one can't predict Mausi.
Nowheyon says everyone seems to be afraid of Mausi, even Oviyon's doctor friend.
She asks how Senami is doing.

Oviyon says he guesses she's alright.
She asks if he's okay.
He asks if he looks okay.
She says she's sorry, she's just been talking about herself.
He says it's okay and it's because she has real problems.
She asks if he doesn't.

He says he would rather not complain.
She says she's listening.
He says he has a feeling like he's stuck and his life is at a standstill.
She says he's craving for more.
He says yes.

She tells him to go to Lagos.
He says he already did that.
She tells him to go to Abuja then and get a fresh start.
She thanks him for distracting her.
He says he should be thanking her.
She leans in and he asks what she's doing.
She kisses him.

Senami sees them and turns back.
Obi returns to the palace main room and he's surprised to still see Jide waiting.
Jide says what happened in the past was him giving Obi tough love so he could stick to their plan.

Obi calls for the attendants and orders them to move Doctor Jide.
They carry him out.
The attendants and Dr. Jide rush back into the palace and cower in fear.
Akweyon walks in and nods at Obi.
She turns around and he follows her.

Oviyon breaks away and asks Nowheyon what that was.
Nowheyon says they were kissing.
He says she kissed him.
She says he kissed her back.
He says he thought she said she just wanted them to be friends.

She says it was just a kiss and not a big deal.
He says it is a big deal and she's not just a random girl; he doesn't want to hurt her
She tells him not to hurt her then.
He says he's sorry and didn't mean to.

She says he's so stiff and it was just a kiss and no big deal but she would respect his boundary and they would remain non-kissing friends.
She stands up and leaves saying she would talk to him later.

Sesinu is leaving the station.
She gets a call from Senami.
She asks when Senami last tried to call Seyive.
Senami says she hasn't called since she disappeared and turned her phone off.
Sesinu says if Seyive went off with Neza then it means she's not far away from the village.
Saul is hiding behind a tree and recording Sesinu on his phone.

Sesinu tells Senami to her know if she hears from Seyive.
Senami hears banging from Dr. Jide's office.
Jide comes out of the office.
He laughs and makes a joke.

Senami says she thought she heard noises.
Jide says maybe a lack of sugar is making her hallucinate.
He gives her 500 naira and tells her to get him a new latch and a padlock from the village.
She gives him his money and walks away.
Jide enters the room to meet Sonayan and Sewedo.

He tells Sonayan that Senami's gone.
Obi is at the shrine.
Mausi asks why he's afraid.
He reminds her that he doesn't understand the language very well.

She asks in English and tells him to make himself comfortable.
He thanks her
She tells him she wants a matter handled quietly because the gods are angry that Sonayan took Sewedo and there must be a replacement, blood must be spilled to appease the gods.

He asks if she means another person.
She says they need to do it to avert the pestilence their sins would bring on them all and she thought he should know, as the future Otogan.

He says they don't need to spill innocent blood so she should leave it to him and he would find Sewedo and bring him back.
Peace comes to the shrine and meets the new Akweyon.

She calls out to Mausi and asks how she's doing.
She asks when the new Akweyon joined and where the old one is.
Mausi asks if those are the real questions she came to ask.

Peace scratches her head.
Mausi says since Peace is not responding, she will ask her own questions then.
