I tilted my eyeglasses up so as to have clear view, to be sure if she’s really the one or not.

It’s not like I’ve got sight problem but my mom insisted on getting one for me and made me promise her to always wear it.

She said it’s gonna make me look like a nerd and cultist won’t be able to try and intimidate me that join their gang.

The eyeglasses wasn’t a recommended one but the rope attached to its handle which always hang down at the back of my neck plus how bulgy it is made it look like a recommended eyeglass.

She was wearing a black fitted trouser, blue top which had the inscription “hello bitches ” on it and blue sneakers .
” please excuse me” I said to the bike man I was talking to as I excuse myself to go and meet her but before I could get to her, she had already sat on the bike and the bike man had already embarked on the journey she had instructed him.

I swiftly return to my bike man
” follow that bike ” I instructed the bike man as I swiftly hop on it.

My bike man swung into action at once as the pursuit began.

I didn’t think twice about what I was doing as I was only keen on catching up with her.

We’ve almost gotten closer to her bike when she suddenly spotted me.

She said something to the man riding the bike she’s on and the man suddenly increase the bike speed.

” should I still follow them ” the man riding the bike I was on asked me.
” yes na ” I said as I peeped my head out watching her bike as it was accelerating forward, maneuvering its way through vehicles.

” hope say you get money ” the bike man said feeling reluctant to engage in the pursuit.
I took out my wallet from my pocket, took out two thousand naira out of it and gave it to him.
He grinned wildly as he received it and check its value.

He increased his speed at once as he pursued After her bike which was almost out of sight.
I must commend the bike man riding the bike she’s on , he was really good as he wasn’t giving it to us easy on catching up with them but my bike man was also rogue.

After almost fifteen minutes of pursuing, we’re finally catching up with them.

I was already lost to where we could be because I’ve not gotten to the places we’re riding through before.

Her bike man suddenly cut to an intersection by the left side, my bike man had to swiftly hold the brake tightly in order for us not to bypass it, he swiftly turn towards the intersection and we’re back in the game.
There were many people in the street they cut to and almost all of them looked rugged.
The bike suddenly parked and the mumu us was still riding towards them.

I was happy as we approached them until the girl started screaming at the top of her voice.
” kidnappers, kidnappers ” pointing towards our direction.

As if it had been planned before, uproar suddenly developed as everyone was running towards us, picking any weapon their hands could get hold of.

Only God know what my bike man did to his bike as it suddenly nosed itself upward and without a forewarning, I fell down from the bike hitting my buttock hard on the ground. It was extremely painful but it was too swift to feel the pain.

My bike man, swiftly turned his bike and accelerated out of sight leaving me to my fate.
I wanted to get up and run away but it was too late as they all surrounded me and started hitting me with everything in their hands.

I remembered the warning of my mom against strange beautiful girls at once.
” petrol and tyre, petrol and tyre ” I heard someone screamed among the mob and before I could know what was happening, I already saw some guys dragging two tyres towards me.

” Jesus ” I screamed on seeing them expecting a miracle to happen.
