It’s been quite a while now. Jamb has come and gone. University life or should I say campus life is much more than what I expected in every regard. Good or bad? Well I won’t say bad like BAD but it’s still not great like GREAT either. But one sweet side to it is my dream job is seeming attainable. When my parents died, it seemed like all hope was lost, but now thanks to the way things turned out, I can smile again. Well, today is Tuesday, I’m in 100 level and I have class today by 12. Time’s 8:36am.

Make I describe where I dey stay self, Abii una don forget say university dey different from my side? This is the city, and I’m in uniben, but I live not inside campus, neither close to campus. Not too far off either. I have a car, so it’s not that big of a deal. I stay in a room and parlor self contain, as per my request. The king wanted me to stay in a flat, like his daughters, but I decided to keep it small. After all, how many of us want stay inside how many rooms?

So life has been okay, school has been okay so far. Although getting here wasn’t easy, the exams I had to write, abeg make I nor even talk about am self. So made new friends, male, female. Trying to minimize my friendship with the princesses, both of them. Because the kind vibe wey I Don dey get from them since Ehn especially ovie, one day na sweet friend, the next day, she don turn witch. Me taya nor be small. Well, when I say minimize friendship, I don’t mean me not talking to them, but I try as much as possible to reduce or if possible self not go out to anywhere with them, make dem for nor get the idea say na relationship Abii na strafing na I want. Dat kind tin for sweet sha o, but haba, I get conscience na. Their dad practically made me his son. Gratitude is my one and only strong suite.
