me.why are you stammering? Tell me b/c a
problem shared is a problem half solved, igbo
people use to say that two head is better than one,so
tell me.

Ogo.erm..i am 1 month and half pregnant.

Me.is that what you are hiding for me,i thought is
something serious. (she stare with surprise)
so have you discussed it with the person who got you pregnant ?”i asked

ogo.are you talking to me?

Me.no ooh!! am talking with spirit.

Ogo.who else got me pregnant if not you..

*****no ooh! my mother ones complained about my
ear problem, maybe I didn’t heard her correctly,
let me ask her again because it might be a slip of

Ogo. What is that you didn’t heard ?

me. you are pre-g-n-a-n-( stammering before
she cut me)

ogo. pregnant right?

me. (nodding my head like agama lizard)

me. Yes am 1 and half month pregnant which you
are responsible.

My leg shook,i was speechless,i wanted to say
something but my mouth wasn’t helping matter
at all.i was busy contemplating on what i just
heard.

Ogo. hope you are not deaf and dumb now. .(she
came and tapped me. .)

Me.i dont know the f-----g pregnancy you are
talking about and let me warned you! Don’t ever
near my house again you heard me.

I was about to left her when she held my hand
and started raining insult on me ..shouting and
raising her voice at the same time ..so i was
totally abashed but i need to act like a man.(abi no be so? )
,,will you leave my hand before i struggle you
to death.(i threaten )

Ogo.you! Go! Kill! Me! Today! ooh!!!((shouting my name)

I pushed her and she fell down landing her head
on a wall, i was like my own have end.that was
when i remembered what my father told me 2yrs
ago about his friend doing business in lagos and
need some one to assist him,but when he told me
i declined it but this time around i need to have a
second thought on it.i have to run for my life. .

I was busy still contemplating on the issue before some
one tapped me and shouted. YOU HAVE KILLED
SOMEBODY OOH!!
i regained my cautionsness on hearing that word.,i saw two nurse carrying
ogo on a wheel chair and i saw my father too.
(devil at work .but if i escape this one
eeh!.am gonna go church on Sunday walahi. ..))
