LESLEY
I slept with a smile on my face and I woke up with yet a smile on my face.

Rudzi: You seem happy babe

Me: I’m very happy.Lets just say the revenge for your sister has just begun..

Rudzi: What do you mean?

Me: I think it’s about time we leave this place and go live at Joburg..I mean we have enough
money to start a business.I can start something based on my IT knowledge since my father won’t
let me be.

Rudzi: But Les this is the only home I know

Me: I know my love.You can even get a job that side after giving birth.. She just kept quiet…

Me: I will let you think about it.

Rudzi: So you took his money?

Me: Yes I did.

Rudzi: Wow.I didn’t think you would do so.

BOSS
I was busy dressing up when my phone rang..I answered and it..

Me: Hello

Wife: Honey what is going on?

Me: What do you mean?

Wife: There is no money in our joint account and even in your business account.

Me: Sorry? Come again

Wife: Get back home dammit.You transferred our money in another account didn’t you? This
wasn’t registering well.Shw doesn’t make sense at all.I got in the car and sped home. Tendi was
also here while my wife was cursing.

Wife: How could you take such a decision without informing me?

Me: I don’t know what you are
talking about. I took my phone and checked my balances and indeed all my accounts were empty..

Me: Come we are going to the bank. We all got in the car and drove to the bank.

Me: This can’t be happening? Who could have done this? I really don’t get this at all.Whoever it is
the bank will have to find out who it is or else i will sue them. We got there and enquired..
We sat
there for hours with them trying to find out all this.

All I could hear was ‘Sorry Sir’ I was
shattered.How am i gonna recover from all this? Worse is that I don’t know who did this..

ETHAN
I decided that today I was going to hear what my parents have decided. So I woke up, bathed and
got dressed. Had breakfast then left to their house. Mom got the door as always.

Mom: He’s in the lounge
Mom looked worried and she was jumpy. I just nodded my head and went ahead. I found him drinking whiskey and smoking a cigar. He really meant business.

Me: Old man. I’m here

Dad: Why did you bring up Lesley after so many years

Me: He is suffering and needs his family

Dad: Well unfortunately we won’t welcome him back unless he does what we asked.

Me: Well you leave me no choice then

Dad: What do you mean by that?

Mom walked in just as I was about to make the announcement…

Me: I am no longer your son.

Mom: Noooo

She was screaming then started crying

Dad: WHAT? THAT IS ABSURD!

Me: You refused to take my brother back so you’ve lost two sons now.

Dad: Okay son look can you give me a week to reconsider?

Me: Two days. That is all!

I stood up then walked out and drove home. These people are not serious.

STANLEY
Things have been great at work and with the gang. Mashudu as well. She’s finally accepting that she not going anywhere. She is stuck with me…FOR LIFE! It’s about time I put my boys up to a
mission now. A special mission. I want them to deal with Ethan. Yes I’m still on that. We’ve had
two hoists already that were successful and left me a millionaire. Things are finally coming
together.

MASHUDU
I have accepted defeat. I have accepted my punishment for all the evil that I’ve ever done. If this is
the life I’m destined to live then so be it. The pain of not going out without a dodgy body guard is
the worse. I hate it. Honestly. I wish I could run away but where do I go to? This body guard is
scary. I am not even allowed to have friends. Is that fair though? If only I hadn’t given him the love potion.

Things are bad now. It’s backfiring. God please help me.
