ONCE A LOVER - Season 1 - Episode 29

Shortly, the blaring of the siren could be heard from a distance. A bus drove into the school compound hazardously and a battalion of soldiers came down from the bus.

“Where is the principal?” A soldier asked a junior teacher who was roaming about doing nothing, he barked with some kind of husky voice.

“He is in his office sir.” The shivering junior teacher replied tensely and some soldiers walked straight to the principal’s office.

“Principal, where are those boys that are involved yesterday?” The leader of the team asked the Principal gently.
“I guess they are in their class.” Mr. Chorus replied with shaky voice.
“Where is their class?” The soldier roared loudly.

“The… there (pointing to our class with his index finger).”Mr. Chorus replied shivering.
“Lead the way.” The soldier commanded and Mr. Chorus hurrily got on his feet and he led the way to our class.
“No don’t enter the class, call them here.” The soldier commanded and Mr. Chorus concurred with his command.

“Daniel…” Mr. Chorus called loudly from outside and Daniel walked out of the class confidently.
“Where is that your friend?” Mr. Chorus asked faking a smile.
“You mean Ola?” Daniel asked suspiciously.
“Yes, Ola, call him for me please.” The Principal concluded faking a smile.
“Hope there is no problem?” Daniel asked while staring at the uniform men.
“Not at all Daniel.” Mr. Chorus riposted and Daniel sluggishly walked back to the class.
“Ola, you’re called.” Daniel called and I walked out with heavy legs.

“Officers, here they are.” Mr. Chorus commented and the soldiers move closer to us.

“Now move.” A soldier commanded pushing Daniel by the head.

“I said it… I know my good deed will be mistaken for misdeed, what do you expect me to do? I should leave her in her own pool of blood unconsciously, so that she can die, right?” Daniel yelled loudly at the interrogating soldier.
