I heaved a sigh of relieve as i step out of the chief’s office, who could ever believe that me, detective Jackson, special agent in the force who had deal with so many enemies could be subjected to such a scam by some unknown forces. Thank God am off the how for now, its time to show the who they messed with…
My pocket vibrated, and i brought out my phone
“hello” i said
“sir, we have brought in thru reporter”
“that good, process him and put him in holding room four”

“okay sir”
“And, prepare the room for interrogation”
“yes sir”
I ended the call, now this is something to start with.

“Hey jack, how did the it go” joy asked once i had settled down in my office
“well good for now, atleast am off the book, and mason is now our suspect no 1” i replied “but this information should be classified and on no ground should you relate this to any third party”
“why?” she asked
I went on to tell her the reason for the decision, that the board suspect that we have a mole inside, considering the way information was released and the implication, so they didn’t want to alert the suspect, until we have something good on him and they also dont want the public to know what going on until they are sure of the decision the have made so far.
“so how did you intend on progressing with the case” she asked me

“well, we will be using the MCIU database but we will be opening a new socket which would be password barred, and also the socket would be hidden in among our system”
“that means we would inviting someone from the tactical”
“i dont think so, i can handle for the time being until things get out of hand, then we can invite someone” i replied with a note a finality
Getting up, i informed her that am going over to holding room for interrogation, that she should do a favour of digging dip into mason’s background and see if we can get anything out of it, and that she should also dig into his partners background also..

I collected my jacket and went out of the room….
