When we got to d shoprite i started d
shopping while josey followed me around.
U see dat side wey them pack chocolates
full,na dat side be my favourite o,i wld just
walk 2 dat side,pick up pack of
chocolate,examine it & say

Me:mehn dis chocolate wld be so sweet,i ve
tasted it b4 sha & it ws woaw.wld u like 2 ve
a taste

Josey:yes

Me:well dat wld be next time(drop it back)not
today….oboi come see josey face,she go come
frown like seven days palm wine,chai dis show
dey sweet me die.when i ve done it repeatedly
like three times josey got mad

Josey: over d past 20 minutes we had been
walking d whole shop with just d orbit
chewing gum u first selected.y are u being
wicked nau eh

Me:eh,u say?

Josey:nuffin

Me:better….we kept shopping till i saw a well
package product like dat,i wondered what it is
used for so i met one of d shop attendant &
asked her,she collected d product & explained
everything about d product.she ws putting on
face cap so i wasnt seeing her face well.i ws
abt 2 collect d product back when my car key
fell down,she bent 2 help me pick it & her face
cap fell off too,b4 she cld go 4 it i already
picked it up.she went 4 my key,picked it bt
refused 2 show her face as she stoodup
looking down ward,she handed d key over 2
me while i held cap still,i dnt knw if i saw her
face or not bt i heard myself shout out
Me:Nancy?(people close hard & turned,staring
at us.she didnt answer,she just kept looking
down so i used my left hand 2 raise her head
up 2 behold d face of a sobbing angel,it ws
indeed nancy)nancy,its u? I ve been searching
4 u all over

Nancy:i know u will dat ws y i left

Me:wait a minute.josey

Josey: (answers from a distance)big bro

Me:shop as u like.all bill on me

Josey:yeeeeee

Me:cn we talk?

Nancy:after work,am nt 2 be found talking
while on duty

night,even in my dreams,u stole my heart dat
very day i saw u in court and since then its
been hell without u.

Nancy:i fell 4 u too bt i cldnt stay,d shame of
being a girlfriend 2 a cultist(capon) ws too
much,i cldnt bear d pains,i jst had 2 leave

Me:what happened 2 ur number?

Nancy:i changed it,i knew u wld ask 4 it from
isaac

Me:hw did u know?

Nancy:d way u were staring at me in court

Man:nancy,i ve been watching u,y stand here
& talk instead of working

Nancy:he is d manager here

Manager:am talking & u are still standing

Me: (nancy shivered at his shout & made 2
leave bt i held her back)with all due respect
sir she has resigned & as u cn see she is nw a
customer nt a worker

Manager: (showed angry face)is that so? Ok
then(walks away)

Me:josey come & meet nancy(she didnt answer so i turned 2 check on her & guess what,josey already had four filled shopping wheels) joseeeeyy

Josey: (turned to me)o big bro,all bills on
u…if to say no be say i don see nancy she for
collect slap tire like in MY FATHER MY
WORST ENEMY,as that chidi papa take dey
slap them but i just force out smile

Me:come meet nancy

Josey: oh u found her?…she rushed 2 us

Josey:woaw,she is worth d sleepless nights u
had & fire u almost caused at home

Nancy:hahaha,funny girl

Me:if i render u back hand slap eh well nancy
meet my genius of a kid sister josey,josey
meet d love of my life nancy…they exchange
pleasantries

Josey:so bro it means what i ve shopped its
not enough so aunty nancy c’mon lets shop
more,all bills on him

All:hahahahaha…

After d shopping i paid 4 everything,some of d
shop attendants helpped us pack them 2 my
car boot,i cld tell they were happy 4 nancy as
they waved her goodbye.

We got home,i drove in,came down,held my
princess hand & led her inside with josey
following behind after packing some of d
goodies in d boot,i opened d parlour door &
everybody turned,behold isaac & his girl.as d
girl follow turn i shock,she is that same girl i
saw in my dream bt i cn see d family accepted
her,that means there ws no intimacy between
her & father

Observer:woaw nancy,where ve u been

Me: (smile)i finally found her,all thanks to
josey & her shoprite demand

Step Mum:woaw my two sons met angels

Dad:u see dis boys,they ve big eyes.nancy
come over here & join us….d family
merried,that was one of d happies day of my
life.3 years later i got married to nancy &
isaac married stella,d wonderful thing is that
we got married same day,same church & same

venue.as for d police IPO i learnt he was
dismissed from work.oboi honey moon mood
activated so see u later.no no no,thank u very
much bt u cnt join me in my honey moon & be
warned,if i dare see u knock for my door
during dis honey moon period,i wld show u y i
