She Dies - Season 1 - Episode 47

Zack, Anabel’s first husband, looked at the
clock. It was 7:30AM. He dabbed a napkin at
his mouth and rose from the dining table. He
strode to the sitting room and moved to his
wife who was sitting on a couch, waiting to
see him off. He held her arms, pulled her to
her feet and dropped a kiss on her forehead.

He gave her a balmy smile and left the sitting
room for his car parked in the garage. Anabel
carried his briefcase and followed him. As
Zack opened the driver’s door, Anabel walked over to the passenger’s door, opened it and dropped the briefcase on the seat. She closed the door and moved to her husband. Zack held her waist, kissed her lips and said,
“Goodbye my love.”


Anabel said, “I love you my love and will miss
you. Hope you’ll come back early?”
Zack nodded, “Of course.”

She smiled, “Goodbye,” then she closed the
door and looked on as he started the engine.

She stood, smiling and waving until Zack
edged the car out of the compound. She went
inside and moved to the bathroom. She shed
her clothes, got into the bathtub and in some
minutes she was done with her bath. She
headed to her room, moved to the wardrobe
and selected a dress. She got into it, put on
her make-up and wore Bellagio perfume. She
shook her long, flowing tresses, combed it and
had it in a knot. Then, she wore her sandals,
picked her handbag and was off for market. In
an hour, she was done with her shopping. On
her way back, she decided to stop over at her
husband’s office. After some minutes drive,
she was in front of her husband’s place of
work. She honked the horn at the gate and a
gatekeeper opened the gate. She drove in,
brought the car to the parking lot and killed
the engine. She got out of the car and quickly
ascended the stairs. Zack’s office was on the
third floor. She got to the corridor and entered
Zack’s secretary’s office. The secretary was at the desk, speaking to someone on the phone, and had her back to Anabel. Anabel decided not to interrupt her and started moving toward Zack’s office. When the secretary noticed her,
she was already at Zack’s door. She hung up
immediately and made to stop her but it was
too late for Anabel had already opened the
door. She got in and found Zack clamping his
hands on Lucia’s waist, their lips held
together in an e----c kiss. She stood stunned
for few minutes, her eyes suffused with tears
as she sniffed uncontrollably, and she turned
in disgust and faced the door. In those few
minutes, she recorded Lucia’s physiognomy in her memory for future use. The following week,


Zack sued for a divorce and the court divorced
them. After two months, Zack was
assassinated. When Reagan murdered Zack,

Anabel gave him Lucia’s description and he
went in search of her. After six months and
Lucia was still nowhere to be found, Reagan
gave up. The following year, Anabel ran into
Lucia in a restaurant. She was in the company
of a man Anabel believed was already married
and was cheating on his wife. She watched
them from her table with uneasiness as they
ate, talked, chucked and kissed. At a point,
she was forced to start counting the number of times they kissed each other and she counted them ten. When they left the restaurant,

Anabel stood and ran after them. They went to
a car and the man walked Lucia to the
passenger’s door. He opened it for her, kissed her and she got in. He closed it, moved to the driver’s door and entered. The engine was already burning when Anabel rushed to the passenger’s door and forced it open. Lucia wore a puzzled look on her face; she didn’t recognize Anabel,

“What’s the problem with you?”

Anabel placed her arm on the door and forced
a smile, “You think you’ve got away with what you did?” She smiled again, “But just know I’m coming after you and will destroy you very soon.”

Lucia thought quickly and remembered her.
She frowned, “You’re most welcome.” She looked sharply at the man and shouted, “Get me out of this place!”

The man who was already growing impatient
responded immediately and the door flapped,
bringing Anabel to the ground as the car
zipped off. A cop few miles away hurried over
to Anabel as she was struggling to get up.

“What’s the problem young lady?” He helped her to her feet.

Anabel managed to smile, “Never mind. Thank you.” She brushed the dirt off her skirt and quickly went away, conscious of the puzzled look on the cop’s face. Since that incidence,

Anabel had not set eyes on Lucia but kept
hoping for a lucky day to unleash her
vengeance.
