She Dies - Season 1 - Episode 25

Reagan stood and took a drag on his
cigarette. He was furious, “That’s really
interesting. You know what?” He took some
steps away from her, “You adopted me and
transferred your genes to me,” he released
smoke, “and now the thing that came over you after you took me into this house has come over me now.” He took the gun and moved slowly towards her. Jane was lost in thought.

What was he trying to do? Shoot her? She
tried to figure out as her heart hammered
violently. Reagan took four steps towards her,
his gun targeted at her chest and his lips
smiling, “Before I proceed on this long awaited reunion, there’re two important instructions you must take dearly to heart.” His smiles disappeared, “First, do whatever I say and second, no form of noise is allowed. By doing these, you won’t push me into making this reunion painful for that will be a total contradiction.” He took two more steps
forward and Jane made to run but he pointed
the gun up and fired a shot. The shattering
sound of the gun instantly stilled Jane’s legs
and brought her to her knees, her eyes
suffused in tears and her heart tearing apart.
“Please forgive me. I love you.” She sniffed.
Reagan was looking at her, smiling as he
ordered, “Take off your clothes and make
yourself comfortable on the floor.”

Jane didn’t understand him. She looked
completely confused. What was the b-----d
trying to do? What does he have in mind? She
was still gaping at him, trying fruitlessly to
predict Reagan’s motive when Reagan pointed the gun at her and said, “Now!”
She stood slowly, “Are you trying to Molest
your mother?” She sobbed and looked
pleadingly at him. Reagan didn’t utter a word,
his eyes were not blinking. Jane saw the
murderous glint in his eyes and reluctantly
started removing her clothes. She unbuttoned
her shirt and dropped it on the floor. She held
the hemline of her blouse and sluggishly
began to lift it. As she did this, she prayed
Reagan changed his mind. Since her former
husband, Ben, left her because she had had
miscarriage thrice, she had protected and
preserved her sacred dignity from men,
reputable men who wanted to cash in on her
singleness, and now a common b-----d whom
she took from a foster home was about
robbing her of that most cherished dignity.
More tears came to her eyes and made their
separate ways down her cheeks and she
regretted many things about her past: she
regretted the day she broke up with Ben, she
regretted the day she took Reagan from the
foster home, she regretted those days she had mercilessly dealt with him and finally, she
regretted why she didn’t kill him when he was still with her. If only she had killed him then; if only she killed him when he was still tender, powerless and helpless; if only she had got rid of him, what was happening at the moment wouldn’t be happening. When she took the blouse past her head, she kept it on the floor and wiped her tears, “Please don’t do this, it’s a sin against God.” She cried.

Reagan smiled, his member was already stiff
and he began moving his eyes hungrily up and
down her Unclad body, “How dare you call
God’s name?” He folded his arms across his chest, “God has nothing to do with monsters and that’s exactly where you belong. You’re never my mother, for only a monster could do to a fellow human what you did to me.” He started removing his shirt. “I’m aware you
haven’t had this since Ben left you, I know you have for all these years been starved of this most cherished pleasure but I promise you that I’ll make this reunion worthwhile.” He
gave a ghoulish laughter and struggled out of
his trousers. Jane hid her face in her palms.
She was ashamed and afraid to look at
Reagan’s nakedness, she was afraid to look at the boy who was only a ghost seven years
back but had suddenly grown into a man, and
she was afraid to look at the devil standing in
front of her. Reagan watched her with great
amusement and started smiling, “Whatever
silly thing your mind may presently be
tempting you to do as we embark on this long
awaited reunion, I advice you never to incline
for I’ll quickly put a bullet where it kills slowly should you act silly. I believe you understand what I mean?” He took another step forward,

bent over her and pointed the gun at her
chest, “For all these seven years I left you, I
have not rested. I have been busy, swinging
from one training to another and I think that
finally I’ve learnt a lot of skills. One of those
skills I have learnt well which I consider
important to bring to your consciousness is
that your son is now synonymous with gun
and he is good at it as he is good at
cigarette.” He puffed on his stick and slowly
blew out smoke from his nostrils as if he was
trying to show her fact on what he had said, “I know how smart you’ve always been but I’ll
manage to keep the gun far away as we
peacefully embark on this pleasurable reunion.

Then if you want to know how well your son
has learnt, try to outsmart me and I’ll gladly
show you.” He smiled, stood and moved to a
couch. He dropped the gun on it, took the
stick from his lips and threw it to the floor. He
turned to Jane and said, “Get that stinky
underwear off your body immediately or I’ll do that for you. Hope you know how catastrophic it will be if you let me do it.” Jane removed her palms from her face, bit her lips bitterly and slowly did as instructed. Reagan grinned,

hurried madly towards her and pinned his
body against hers. He plunged into her
continuously and violently and she kept
screaming with pains. She screamed and
screamed but her screams were swallowed by the heavy rain outside. In ten minutes, when Reagan had had o----m after o----m, he got into his trousers, slid his hand into his pocket and took out a pair of pliers. He took his gun from the couch and shot Jane on both knees.

Jane cried and Reagan hurried towards her
again. He pulled her left hand and watched
her bangle fall off. He released her hand and
pulled her hair violently, giving a wide
laughter as Jane turned red in her forehead,
“This time around, there’ll be no accident,” he was shouting, “no doctor to lie to and no chance to live again.” Jane lay helpless in the pool of her blood, her useless screams gradually subsiding. Reagan pulled her hand again, stretched her ring finger and held the pliers firm on it. Jane’s screams increased but was subdued by the rain. Reagan tossed the pliers until he chopped off the finger.

He shook the blood-soaked pliers repeatedly and the finger dropped to the floor. She left Jane dangling alongside the finger on the floor and poured a big quantity of the drink into the glass. He drained it with a gulp. For some seconds, he stood, watching Jane losing
breath and struggling on the floor for a life
she would never have, and he broke into
laughter. When Jane was almost dead, he
shot her in the head and took her to the
backyard for funeral.
