The killers guild - Season 1 - Episode 58

“Who is it?” Tony asks.
“It is I, Zach Owens.” The voice whispered.
Tony dashed over to the door excitedly, and opened up, Zach was standing in front of him, smiling. ‎Tony could not hold his excitement as he gave his best friend a hug.

“Well? Come on in.” Tony said breaking the hug.

‎ “No need for that,” Zach says, his eyes was scanning the entire neighbourhood, as if he was searching for something.”I do not intend to stay long.” Zach says, still observing his surroundings.

“Why not? And why are you looking around anxiously?” Tony asks.

“I need to make sure, I wasn’t followed.” Zach says.

“By who? The cops?” Tony asks.
“I’m guessing you saw the news.” Zach says. Tony nodded In affirmative.
“Why are the cops chasing you?” Tony asks.
“Those guys you saw on the news? They ain’t cops. Those guys are assassins that my friend, Michael and I tracked down.” Zach says.
“If that’s the case, why were they in a police vehicle?” Tony asks.

“Cause they wanted to make it look like I am a criminal who was being chased by the cops. Now that’s what everyone’s going to believe. And they weren’t chasing me, I was chasing them.” Zach says.

“But your car fell off a bridge, right?” Tony asks.

“Yeah it did, but I wasn’t in it.” Zach says.‎
“Listen Zach, I won’t lie to you, I don’t get it. I just don’t understand what is going on here. But one thing I know is that, Agent X is the man behind all of this.” Tony says.

“No Tony, you’re wrong. I worked with Agent X for years I know how he operates, and trust me this is not him.” Zach says.

“Then tell me who is it? Zach listen to me your officer friend is dead, Now Agent X has come for you….” Tony was saying.

“He’s not dead.” Zach says.‎
“Then where is he, shouldn’t he be here to help you when you need him most?” Tony asks.
“He’s not here because I don’t want him to be here. Listen I don’t want any body getting hurt because of me. Never again.” Zach looked behind him. “I shouldn’t be here but I felt it wasn’t right for me to leave without saying goodbye.”

“Goodbye? Where are you going?” Tony asks.
“Is Isabella here?” Zach asks.
“No, she’s not here why?”
“I’ve got to tell you something. Can you… perhaps.. I mean… can you….” Zach was hesitating.

“Can I what?” Tony asks.
“Call off the wedding?” Zach dropped the bomb.

“What?” Tony asks. ‘Zach must have gone crazy.’ He thought.

“Just until I can solve out this mess. Can you not get married yet?” Zach asks.
“What are you even saying, can you just listen to yourself. The wedding is scheduled for next week. And you want me to call it off, why would I do that to Bella?….”Tony was saying, frustration clearly written on his face.

“Listen, i….” Zach wanted to say something but Tony cuts in.

“I know you don’t approve of Isabella, I know that but asking me to call off the wedding? That’s too much and just because your marriage didn’t work out doesn’t mean mine wouldn’t.” Tony said.
“Yeah you’re right.” Zach says dejectedly.
“Listen man, I didn’t mean to hurt you by saying that. I understand what you are passing through, I know you are just trying to look out for me but you should look out for yourself now not me.” Tony says, feeling remorseful.

“No, it’s okay you are right. Forget everything I said and do whatever makes you happy. Zach says dipping his hand into his coat and brought an envelope out, which he gave to Tony and said. “If I’m not back in a couple of months, a guy will come find you. Give that to him.”
“How will I know if it’s him?” Tony says staring at the envelope in his hand.‎
“Look out for his distinctive qualities, handsome, tall, smart, egoistic and stuffs like that. And he has blue eyes just like yours. His eyes are brighter than yours though.” Zach says with a smile, then he grabbed Tony’s arm and says. “Always look out for yourself man. I’ll be leaving now.” Zach says as he starts to walk away.

“At least tell me where is it that you are going?” Tony asks.

“I need some time to restrategize and I need to do it in a place where I don’t have to worry about being followed or having my loved ones get hurt. I met a guy who knows about a city where neither the cops nor this assassins can find me. I will be staying there, till I can come up with my next plan.” Zach says.
“And where is this city?” Tony asks.
“Sorry man, but I have to keep it a secret.” Zach says.

“Alright dude, if you want to go, I won’t stop you but promise me you’ll be here for the wedding.” Tony says.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world, I promise.” Zach says as he waves Tony goodbye and left, Tony waved back with teary eyes and went back in.

(A week later)

Tony‎
Well, it’s my wedding day everyone is here. My family, my coworkers my neighbours, everyone but Zach.

It was time to take the wedding vows.‎
“Anthony Jefferson, you are my best friend. I promise to laugh with you, cry with you, and grow with you. I will love you when we are together and when we are apart. I promise to support your dreams and respect our differences, to never betray your trust, and to love you and be by your side for all the night and days of our lives.” Isabella gave an heart melting vow.

“I Anthony Jefferson, do pledge you, Isabella Willis, my love, for as long as I live. What I possess in this world, I give to you. I will keep you and hold you, comfort and tend you, protect you and shelter you, till death do us part.” I said.
“I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.” The bishop said.

I drew Isabella in for a deep kiss and at that very moment all my worries seems to have vanished into thin air, and she was the only thing on my mind. Finally, she’s mine. Isabella’s mine.
