The killers guild - Season 1 - Episode 54

Nine in the evening.‎

Zach was sitting down on Tony’s couch, he had a sad look on his face and was in deep thought.
“Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow then, bye, goodnight.” Tony was speaking on his phone while coming from the bathroom.

“That was Isabella on the phone,‎ she asked me why I had left in such a hurry and I told her about Johnny, and she was heartbroken, you should have heard her voice I’m sure she was crying.” Tony says wiping tears from his eyes. Zach just nodded. “You know what I’ve been thinking? if Johnny was truly murdered like you said. I think you and I know who the culprit is.”
Zach raised his head up and stared into Tony’s eyes.

“I mean, think about it. You and I are aware of the fact that their’s only one man who is capable of doing this. It’s Agent X, it’s either him or that guy with the eye patch, either way, it’s definitely one of those two.” Tony continued.

Zach smiled and says “They don’t have the nerves.”

“Listen Zach, I know that you said, Agent X and his crew can’t touch you, so long as your officer friend is alive but why don’t you face the facts here? What if your friend is dead? What if they finally had him and now they’ve come for you?” Tony says.‎

“He’s not dead, I’m sure of that.”Zach says.

“Then who else can it be, Zach? Tell me.” Tony was raising his voice.

“I know you think that Agent X is the only guy who’s out to get me but he’s not OK? There are more than a dozen other guys who wants me dead. I left my father’s house, and for years i lived like a gangster, I made a lot of enemies Tony, back then I thought I was living the good life but now I’m paying for it.” Zach said in a very loud voice as he broke into tears.

“Listen I know how you are feeling but you’ve got to be strong for Jennifer, for me, Zach please.” Tony pleaded.

“I’m okay TJ, trust me. I’ll get some sleep now, you should too.” Zach says wiping the tears from his eyes, as he la!d down on the couch.
“Are you sure, you’re okay?, Why not use the Guestroom?” Tony asks.

“Of course I’m okay. Goodnight buddy.” Zach says as he slept off on the couch.
The next morning,

“Tony, Jennifer just called, says she’ll be arriving home today.” Zach says as he walks into Tony’s room.

He didn’t seem to have had much sleep all through the night.
“Well? What did you tell her?” Tony asks.
“Nothing.” Zach says.‎
“Good, it’s not something you should discuss over the phone.”

“I’ll wait till she gets back this evening and then I’ll meet her at home and then I’ll tell her.”

“Good.” Tony says.
Later in the evening.
Zach was set to leave.

“Sure you don’t want me to come with you?” Tony says.

“No it’s alright, I’ll go alone.” Zach says.
“Alright man, extend my condolences to Jennifer.”

Tony walks him to the door and just then Isabella walks in.

“Sorry I came so late Tony but I just couldn’t help it.” She says as she enters the house, then faces Zach. “I heard about what happened from Tony, it’s such a tragedy Zach, you have my condolences. Are you alright?” Isabella asks.
Zach just nodded and brushed past her.‎
“Don’t mind his attitude Bella, he’s on his way to break the sad news to his wife. So he’s in a bad mood. You should understand.” Tony says.

“Of course I do, who wouldn’t?” She says.
Zach arrived at his house in a dejected mood, he hung his head down in deep thought, wondering ‘how do I tell her?’.He had barely noticed the crowd standing in front of his house.‎
What’s going on, he thought. There were two police vehicles, a few officers were asking questions from the people around.‎

He saw a teenager walking around and called him over.

“What’s going on here?” He asks.‎
The boy thought Zach was a cop and says.”Well I’m not from around here, I came here for a friend’s party, the house is just few blocks away from here and then we heard a loud bang, like a gun shot and we informed the police about it, turns out someone was murdered here. A woman to be precise.”

“What?…Bu..but…. I live here… with my wife.” Zach says.

“Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think you’re now a widower sir.” The boy says.‎
