“What are we doing here man.I
have a game plan tonight.”Zach
fussed
“Just shut up man,it’s your fault
we’re here.”I quickly added.
I looked around and saw that the
room was a bit scanty but well
furnished.Their was 3d flatscreen
tv some Mexican furnitures and
beautiful paintings,Zach got up
and walked over to one of the
flower vases.

“Man for someone who isn’t
working this Hank guy is living
large.”Zach said as he holds the
flower vase.

“Don’t touch anything dude.”
“Ok ok i won’t.But dude tell me
what are we doing here.”

I looked at Zach and flashed back
to yesterday at Division Q.

“Hello please,can i speak with
sergeant Miller.”
“Who are you?”
“My name is Tony…….Anthony
Jefferson.”

“Oh you’re Mr Jefferson.{extends
his hand.}.Am sergeant Miller.”
“{shook his hand.}Nice to meet
you.Please where is she?”
“Hey you there go and bring the
DD suspect.”He said to one of the
officers.

A few minutes later he returned
with Lizzy,who was almost in
tears.

“Listen Mr Jefferson,your
girlfriend Mrs Bennett was
charged with overspeeding,as a
matter of fact the average speed
limit is 140km/h your girlfriend
drove at 300 plus and ran seven
red lights.Which made us believe
she was drunk….”

As the sergeant went on with his
speech i felt sorry for Lizzy only a
mad man would be responsible
for all this crimes and i knew
their is only one person crazy
enough in this city that can even
turn a vegetable garden into a
race track.Zach Owens.

Thankfully Lizzy was granted bail
and i managed to free both cars.
“I..I can’t drive.”Lizzy said in a sad
tone.

“What?Why?”
“They took my driver’s license
and said i must not be seen
driving until they release it.”
“Did they say when.”
“After 6 months.”
“Oh that’s long.”
“What’s the use of having a car if
i can’t even drive around with
it.I’m going going to kill Zach i
swear to god.”

“Please just let it go,i’ll get you a
driver please Lizzy.”

(End of flashback)

“He’s coming.”
Hank was wearing a pink
underwear and white shorts.
“Hey.”I greeted.
“Hey man.”Zach hollerd.
He intentionally ignored my
greeting and greeted Zach.

“To what do i owe this visit.”He
spoke coldly.I was a bit scared to
state our purpose.

“Well em….you see ehm since you
said you were looking for a job
and something happened with
my girlfriend Lizzy.I thought.”I
was stammering,not knowing
how to put it.

“Get to the point.”Hank yelled.
Gosh i was sweating.
“We want you to be Lizzy’s
driver.”Zach dropped it like a
bomb.

‘Gosh this guy can be so stupid
and straight forward is that the
way to put it?’.I thought.

“What???.You want me to be a
driver.”He said staring at me.
BEFORE i could say anything Zach
spoke.

“Actually this was all my idea you
know since you’re jobless
now,thought i should help by
offering you a job.”

“As you can see I’m doing just
fine thank you.”Hank said.
“Yeah i can see that,you are
doing just fine basically living on
my friends salary.”Zach said.
“Hum hold on Zach.”I wanted to
start talking when Hank cut in.
“You know talking about your
salary Tony i heard you are the
new Personal assistant to the
Vice-Principal.”
“Well yes.”

“Congratulations that means your
salary will increase,which means
my share will now be 50 percent
of your new salary.”
“Ye..es i guess.”I replied.

“That’s it I’ve had enough.”Zach
got up and moved over to where
Hank was.He lifted him up from
the chair and pinned him to the
wall.

“Now you listen and listen good,i
didn’t want to intervene before
but now i will.No more enough is
enough you’ve been collecting
money from Tony eversince the
incident for no reason at all,he’s
busy working his a-s off every
day of the week and you’re here
doing nothing but every time he
gets paid you get 50 percent of
his hard earned money but i say
not anymore from today on you’ll
be getting absolutely nothing.”
“Zach please let him go.”I was
pleading all to no avail.His hold
on hank was becoming tighter i
could tell.

“Let me go.”Hank struggled.
“{Released him}The only money
you’ll be getting will be payment
for your job as Lizzy’s
driver,you’ll drive her to work,to
the mall,the morgue or anywhere
else she wants to go and i will be
the one paying you for your
service not Tony so from now on
he does not owe you anything
and you’re not allowed to collect
any money from him anymore or
else i’ll make you pay,do i make
myself clear?.”
No response.

Zach picked him back up and
pinned him to the wall.
“I said do i make myself clear.”
“Yes please just let me go.”
“Good.You begin work tomorrow
and remember no work no
pay.”Zach added.

Hank nodded his head in fright
and we left.

“I didn’t like the way you treated
hank in there.”I said as we got in
the car.

“The guy was scamming you i
had to do something.”
“It wasn’t scam it was my fault
he lost his job.”

“No it wasn’t it was Paul’s fault.”
I sighed and started the car
engine.

“Sure you don’t want me to
drive?”Zach asked.
“Not a chance.”
