“Michael!” Zadira called out to Michael the second time, he curled himself sitting alone at the river bank.

“Get lost! I don’t want to ever see you again!” He barked at her tears flowing freely from his eyes, Zadira narrowed her eyes in confusion. She could feel the hatred in his eyes, she tried holding back her own tears when the love of her life look miserable before her but couldn’t.

“Michael!” She called out softly but he chose to ignore her and walk away, she would have used her powers on her to find out what is wrong with him. But the bond makes him immune to her powers.

“Aaah!” Zadira scream out when thick dark smoke covered her, three vultures encircled her and entered inside her. Her ocean eyes colored up with darkness and lost, the thick smoke raise her to the sky and drive her away.

“We did it!” Princess Xani crushed a rock with her hand, before them is the bond of Zadira and Michael. The Prince didn’t believe they did it. He’ll claim all the glories when the time comes.
“My prince, I have done it.” Nubashi the cast spirits bow in courtesy, they only nodded ’cause the shining light from the bond is already off.

“Mother, very soon it’ll be full moon. Am scared mother” Zadira complained pacing around her room, she has just 3days to prepare for Eta day that Kings give out their daughters as a prize.

“Are you not going to the human world, Zad?” Zadira abruptly stopped; she thought about the journey to the human world will be meaningless now. It’s too late.

“No, Mother” she lay her head on Queen Ural’s laps, she always sing her to sleep when she is disturbed. Zadira felt a great treasure is taken from her but she doesn’t know what it is.

“What?” Michael’s eyes widen in shock, he has just gone through his phone to find out that his uncle has been calling him and a text for him concerning his grandmother’s critical health.

“No, no, not now Granny” he picked up his pieces and ran back home, he entered through the gate. He rushes into the car and he wanted to confirm if his uncle has left already.

“Oga never come house since morning oohh!” The gateman answer confusing Michael the more, but he find them inside the room then, he pushed it to the back of his mind. His Granny’s health is more important to him.

“Do you value mere money more than your mother’s health?” Jackson has called his line since then but there is no service in the area of the construction, the old woman have refused going to the hospital.

“I’ll explain everything to you later, for now where is mama?” Michael who wanted to lash out at his uncle for hurting him but finding how miserable he is, he suspected something is wrong somewhere but he couldn’t place it. Jackson led the way inside the house.

“Why are you here?!” Michael pointed at the children of Agbara who are there to take the old woman to her ancestors; they laugh wickedly maintaining their position on the wall.

“Leave them, am ready to go” the old woman weak voice made Michael knelt beside the mat she lie helplessly, she only waited to this time to bless and say her farewell being leaving the world.

“The journey of one is the journey of all, I bless you my son. And when you want her back go to Igbudu’s shrine” her hand left his head and dropped on the mat, and she remained stiff.

“Mama! Noooo mama!” Michael cried out, he shook her vigorously to wake up but she didn’t, she has gone to meet her ancestors. His uncle Jackson helped him up from the floor; the blind old lady has left the human world.

“Leave me alone!” Zadira screamed crazily at the strange distress calls she heard, she covered her ears. She didn’t remember that anymore that enables her save him whenever he is in danger.
