“Mother, all the plates in the kitchen are not washed” Oliver barged into his parents room angrily, fuming with anger as he raise his voice on his mother. He went to the kitchen to take food as he normally does without his mother permission, he find flies celebrating Christmas in the kitchen. No clean plate to put his food.

“The idiot Michael has travelled home, you should go and wash those plates” Felicia fired back angrily, as her son she hasn’t seen for two days suddenly return home to disturb the peace of her make up section.

“Mother you are very lazy, it’s either you or your little brat should wash those plates, am running out of patient…” Felicia slap her disrespectful son across his face angrily, he is just 19years and unable to further his education to university due to low jamb score.

“You dare lay your filthy hands on me” he barked; fuming at his mother who shrinks in fear, he threatened to punch her face but he has a perfect idea on how to punish his mother. He glared at her and left the room, Felicia start shivering she has heard rumours about her son’s evil deeds.

“Zadi, lemme feed you, please” Michael said insisting to feed her ’cause she is still angry at him about the morning episode that he told her that they don’t model in the kitchen in human world.

“No, don’t bother” she giggle at the way he makes her feel special; she wore the gown to appease his sight that evening. She bought it when a beautiful actress wore it to a dinner with her boyfriend in a movie shown in a cinema she visited. She has been doing a lot of sightseeing.
“Ijele, leave our little wife alone to eat” the blind old woman caution, Zadira hide her face between her raised legs. she doesn’t want Michael to see how happy she is to hear that from his grandmother, Michael smiled too that his granny has just appease Zadira what he has been trying to do the whole day. They were not aware that Zadira’s great strength is her fury.

“you this lazy woman” Jackson slap his wife angrily who get hold of her cheek, she was surprised by his actions. someone under her spell that she always control like television remote is now going against her will.

“You dare slap me, Jackson” she asked angrily biting her lower lips in the process so as to make the lips charm work, but she was surprised to see Jackson raise his hand again to slap her once more.

“And I will do it again and again, if you don’t go inside that kitchen and wash those plates, stupid woman” Jackson threatened with bloodshot eyes ready to pounce on his wife if she fails to do what he threatened her to do, Felicia has been surprised to see her husband in such mood. A man who washes her p@anties if she instructs him to do so is now raising his hand at her and also asking her to wash those dirty plates; something she has never done since she came into his house. ‘No! Something is wrong somewhere’’, she thought to herself. She has to see her mother in Ekpena. “I really need to see my mother fast before things gets out of hand” she said inwardly.

“Can you tell me what happened yesterday, I know am supposed to be death” Michael said staring intently at Zadira who stares at him strangely for demanding such request from her, which human will want to hear about his own death.
“I helped you” seeing the seriousness in his eyes and how he is not ready to take any excuse from her not to tell him about it, she shrug and narrated everything.

“Aahh.. he will surely make the ancestral passage” ogbeni the guardian of the passage to the ancestral world told Michael’s Chi his personal protector, after going through the record of Michael presented by his Chi.

“I know Ogbeni, he is a very good boy who has suffered greatly” Michael’s Chi said taking the book given by Ogbeni, who just nod at his remarks of the boy. His spirit will be good addition to the good spirit world who in turn fight against the evil spirits in the day of iyelbu (the day it will happen).

“Wait for him in ula-agbara, his spirit is passing the passage of purification with Elwu” Michael’s Chi nodded, he race with great smoke to the other side of death but he look back to see a great fire flame burning everything on the way and approaching. He was surprised to see the living spirits princess coming with great speed towards him.
