As soon as Mercy left in her car(don’t be surprise that she has a car she is rich) I quickly ran to buy a 5000 Naira recharge card because am not a fan of social network I only have it acct. but today is different I have to login to my whatsapp account today( I will have many messages) after 3o minutes Mercy left my place I decided to call her

Me: Hello my love
Voice: who is this and who is your love
Me:**irritated** excuse me I want to speak with Mercy

Voice: she is not here **hang up**


Mercy POV
I left Richard house happy and been loved once again and I know that his love is real as I got home I met my dad at home
Me: Good evening Dad
Chief Soso: My angel how her you, you look happy today

Me: yes dad and the reason behind it you will know soon
Chief Soso: just be careful remember that you are the only one I have

Me: yes Dad I promise to be careful……. Dad am coming I want to buy something outside (I Plug my phone and left the house)
15 minutes later I came back home to see my dad worried

Chief Soso: Baby who My Richy
Me: He is Richard and he is my boyfriend and the cause of my happiness

Chief Soso: Ok what is his full name
Me: Richard smith

Chief Soso:***worried and fearful*** (Thinking: What this can be so I pray Richard did not find out about me) so Richard is is your boyfriend oh my god this is impossible. Baby make sure that you don’t tell him that you are my daughter you hear

Me: y dad what wrong what is wrong talk to me

I was surprised that Mercy and Richard found themselves after their long lost relationship this is gobe I must get to Richard grand father’s house to tell him about the new development because I value my life although I regret killing my best friend blindly and out of impatience Mike wherever you are in heaven please forgive me I was misled to kill you. When I got to Richard grandfather house and told him but to my surprise he was not moved a bit


Richard’s POV

I was startled when I saw that it was a man’s voice that picked the call but suddenly I remembered that there was a girl who I loved and was my dad’s best friend daughter we do everything thing together I even protect her because I love her more than my sister then that was when I realized that it was similar to Mercy story

Me”**thinking** could mercy be that girl or what she also said that that guy’s mum Is alive no my mum is dead or I just don’t it I must embark on a secret investigation ( then Seyi comes in)

Seyi: Guy what is wrong with you, you just changed drastically from a moody guy to a smiling at yourself what happen tell me
Me: You won’t believe me when I tell you

We celebrated till 9:00 o clock when I remembered that Mercy said we chat tonite then I quickly login only to meet series of message like hello handsome. Are you there, pls come online, I guess you don’t love me, goodnight as soon I saw the messages I quickly replied her

Me: My love my jewel am sorry for delaying you please forgive me

Mercy: Where have you been that you refuse to come online on time

Me: I was playing PS 2 with my friend I did not realized that it is late already ( I Lied)
Mercy: ok oo I have heard you have you eaten
Me: (I remembered that I have not yet eaten and my stomach is already crying) No but about to
Mercy: Y should I come over to cook for you
Me: Don’t worry the only thing that will make me satisfied is if you agree to be my girl
Mercy: You know what let meet tomorrow at madam bella restaurant by 5pm then I will give you my answer but for now go and eat I want to sleep

Me: ok I will be there goodnight I love you
Chief soso’s Pov
When I saw that he was not shaken I become more scarier then he spoke
Grandpa: you see Richard will not have his revenge until I told him and besides all the data he need is almost ready

Me: But he and mercy are now officially dating
Grandpa: Don’t worry just prepared to face him and tell him the truth and sponsor him when he is in need of money when he begins his revenge quest

Me: ok sir
Grandpa: One more thing don’t tell him that his mother is alive because it will make him stop his quest and distract him but tell him when he finishes his missions you hear me
Me: ok sir

After he told me not to worry that was when I put my mind at rest


Mercy’s POV
When my dad went out I saw that he has picked Richard’s call then I tried to call him back but he never pick up then I login to Whatsapp but was not online I was about to logout before he came online then we chat and I told him that we should meet tomorrow when my dad came in just to tell me that am free to date Richard and if he proposes that I should not hesitate to answer him then I was extra happy
