Twas exactly 2:00pm on that same day,the sun gloriously stood undefeated by any heavenly body,sending it’s scorching heat on the earth,adorning the earth with its golden rays.
Prepared to surprise her,Flames traveled all the way from Onitsha to Ogidi in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State,Nigeria without calling Sophia. After trekking for many kilometers,he found the house bearing same address scribbled down on the paper.

Standing at the gate,he glared inside the building which he is to enter to match the beauties of the house to the beauty of his heart,Sophia but his sense of beauty was clouded with his nervousness due to an inscription he saw on the gate,“Beware of dog”. He had been afraid of dogs right from his childhood,so he’s considering his chance of seeing Sophia which seemed slim due to his phobia for dogs. He stood under the intense heat of the sun nervously knocking on the gate when a man which drew him aback to the Ancient African movies he do see with Sophia a few times when she do visit in school.
“Oga,Good Afunun sai,na who I dey pind”,the Hausa man who served as the gateman greeted in his staunch Hausa accent. He’s dressed in an old agbada which seemed purple but had been darkened by stubborn dust which refused to be discharged with a detergent,serving as the top and a faded blue jeans trouser which browned with the dust-deposits rolled upto his knee level,on his head was a weak head cap with its top-flap resting on the sides of his head and all his gigantic entire frame resting on a flat bathroom slippers(flat as in you’re bare-footed while wearing a slippers).

His question threw Flames off-balance because it caught him unaware but seeing a shabby man dressed as a 19th century man,making it seem real those thing seen on movies drew him back,making him wonder if Hausa guys are really meant for such kinda poor work( lol… No mind me ooo). He was still carried away when he eventually felt a stinging itch at his hand. And in that instant,he regretted not calling Sophia while coming. He hated the moment when the idea of surprising Sophia with an uninformed visit,so as to barge in surprising to the house..
