TWO YEARS LATER
in a school compound inside a suppose SS2 classroom students are busy singing “Victor olodo, olodo”joyfully, a female corper stand in front of the class with a cane while Victor kneel down on the floor “sing for him, all he knows is food”the teacher commanded the students that dont even need such motivation to mock Victor, “both of you should come and hold him, am going to flog him 24strokes”the teacher instructed two boys that stand on their feet at the back role sit at the sight of them approaching to the centre of the class Victor pick race out of the class “pursue him！” the teacher commanded the class erupted into laughter.

at Victor’s house his mother is seen sitting down reading her bible as Victor walk pass her without greeting her sweating profusely with his unbuttoned uniform “Victor, wetin you come do for house school never close ooh, na still 12pm”his mother shouted at him which he ignored and walk into the house, “Lord help me, I dont know what is happening to my son ooh”the woman prayed, a lady at her 20s wearing a shirt with wrapper walking on a narrow road leading to the stream “aunty teacher”a woman returning from the farm hailed her“ma, good evening”the teacher greeted while the woman ask her what she is doing on the way to the river at this kind of time which she told her that she forgot to fetch water before she left for school while they both walk pass each other to their separate direction.
